Worst professor I have ever taken, not only were her tests ridiculously hard but they were also 50+ questions with only 60 minutes to take them. Her required text is her OWN book, which is confusing.

This professor is probably one of the least cut out people, ive ever met, to teach. Upon asking questions, she will simply call you dumb and to consult the syllabus, If you tell her you did, she basically tells you 'okay well you should know from that'. This is on top of her requiring you buy HER book for the class, which seems a little sketchy.

She is definitely a no nonsense professor. She makes the class sound much harder than it is. There are 3 tests and 2 writing assignments. The tests are only open from 8am-8pm, so be careful if you have a funky schedule. This is a relatively easy course, but you do have to put some effort in.

Her exams are only open for 12 hour windows usually 8am-8pm so beware if you have a weird schedule. As well, her exams are between 55-59 questions with only 60 minutes to answer them, they are multiple choice, however they tend to be very specific information from the book, which without the book you wouldnt pass. Exam heavy course.

Professor Lucken doesn't post anything online, you have to show up to class to know what's going on. She writes on the board, but it's hard to understand. She doesn't communicate with students at all. Her lectures are so boring and her tests are quite difficult. I suggest not taking this class (with her at least.)

Prof Lucken, is definitely a no nonsense professor. However not as bad as she is made to seem here. There are no online power points or info at all YOU MUST GO TO CLASS!!! 3 Test on exact power point info; 1 written assignment. Two text books ONLY buy UNDOING TIME book. Strict on cellphone use and being late. You cant BS this class.

Doesn't use online resources, email, or give reviews for exams. Hand-write her slides in class which do not prep you for test, DO show up for assignments; she's not bad/hard, she's just incompetent as an educator. Better for the field IMHO. She has difficultly engaging the class and expressing ideas. You can pass; READ BOOKS; ONLY 4 GRADED WORKS

I found her class to be challenging, but it is university so I was not expecting anything easy. Her tests are all multiple c, and they are pretty tough, but you have plenty of time to finish it. I would recommend her because I enjoyed her lectures. She did give an extra credit opportunity in my class.

She is by far the worst professor in this department! A criminal justice professor who has to go to court often because she disrespects police officers! She is rude and her lectures are very boring. The text book is EXTREMELY boring. She doesn't like to communicate to her students on email, office hours only... -__- I will never take her again!

Lucken is a difficult professor. Took her for two classes, back to back time periods, and I wanted to cry after each class meeting. She is rude, will laugh at you if you say the wrong answer, belittle your opinion, ect ect. BEWARE! you will pass, but youll hate yourself for signing up for her class.

Most difficult class ive ever taken. Corrections and Penology. Got a B+ but i worked so hard it felt like a A+. 60 minutes for 59 questions. trust me that is no fun. Would not recommend her. Tough grader. She wrote the book which is very well written but you decide if u want a professor that teaches from the book she wrote. No extra credit.

took 1 class and let me just say she was very inconsiderate. Online classes are usually for students who have a weird schedule or other reasons alike. WELL she made all her quizzes set for time frame of 1 hour & ONLY that 1 hour. usually you get at least 1 full day, and within that day you can take the quiz. but NO consideration w/ working schedule

She is the worst professor I have ever had. We are not given long enough on the tests, about 40 seconds on each question. The book for her class is extremely boring and doesn't help for the tests. I would not recommend taking her for this class.

This was quite possibly the hardest college course I have ever taken! I originally had an A in this class but because I ran out of time for one of the tests, my grade dropped to a B. The 40 second thing is true. If you're looking for an easy grade, look elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! Only allows 40 seconds to answer exam questions, cannot skip a question and return to it you must answer before you can move on! Exam 1: 57 questions 59 min; Exam 2: 58 questions 55 min; Exam 3 (final): 64 question 55 min. We as a class approached her with concerns and she NEVER replied to us! HORRIBLE PROFESSOR!!!
