WORST professor I've ever had. Horrible human being. Assigns way too much work for a student with 4 other classes and just expects too much. She made us buy her dumb book she edited($40) so we could use 3 times! Talked us into buying tickets to a play that she "forgot" to mention was in french. "B" is a decent grade but for all that work it wasn't.

I have her for Major British Writers. She's a lot of fun. Weekly quizes and journals on the readings. Makes you do little silly things like skits, and makes you sit in a circle. Loves class participation. Lets you do stuff for extra credit. Aside from journals, no major papers (except for one 5-page paper due at the end of the semester).

DONT TAKE ONE OF HER CLASSES! she makes you write uninteresting papers, which she doesnt sit and help you formulate. she gives you a D on your first version of your papers(if yourlucky) the class is boring and is so unorganized. you have to rewrite your papers 5xs and they have no clear due date. she likes to listen to the sound of her own voice.

Worst english teacher ever! Szatek's a wolf in sheep's clothing. At first, she seems to be really nice, but once you're far into the semester, that's when her true colors show. In papers, you can't use "to be" verbs because she "dosen't like it". You'll end up working your ass off just to please her

This professor is very arrogant & needs an attitude adjustment. She believes she's superior to her students & shows it. A question of sexism/fairness also arises, as she allowed a fellow male collegue to rewrite his papers numerous times but not myself. I definitely wouldn't recommend her to anyone!

Good teacher, didn't seem like she has much experience. I didn't learn a thing from her lectures, but I don't think I was paying attention. Lots of little papers that are easy to write and add up to a good percentage of the grade. Tests are moderate. Don't take this class for fun.
