Great professor. hard tests. go to class so you can understand material better. READ and study. You can easily get an A if you do what I said. Great for conversations regarding culture.agriculture. So intelligent. I would take her again

Mrs. Wiegele is a great teacher; however, like most say, she can get a little boring. But that is only if the material isn't interesting to YOU! So I recomend you take a different class if you do not like anthropology. She gives her own perspective to help YOU! Veyr intelligent. Hard to get ahold of..Tests were all essay format. one word! STUDY!

She was the worst! Her notes were handwrittern and unorganized (Even her powerpoints were unorganized) Her exams were kind of hard b/c the info on the study guide was based on her lecturs, Lectures were boring.I only ended up with a B b/c of extra credit. I advise you not to take her unless u HAVE 2!

This professor is awful. She has some of the most interesting information to teach, and yet, she manages to make it so dry and boring! She uses personal knowledge on the topics to create her tests and usually does not use majority of the info given on study guides. DO NOT TAKE HER UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!

Not a great teacher at all. She was boring and she screwed the grades up at the end of the semester. Now I'm left with an "I" for at least 2 months time until she can get it all straightened out with the University.

I went to class on days we had tests and that's it. She posts a study guide on blackboard and I used that to make sure I knew the information and skimmed the book. There were quizzes, but she gave an extra credit assignment at the end of the semester that makes up for missing them. Passed with a 98%.

Honestly the the most boaring teacher I have ever had.Her notes are hand written (6-8) pages a day.Her studyguides are horrendous,misspelled and very confusing.The 50 question exams have 12-15 things off the 3-5page studyguides.The rest is stuff never taught, or off articles she doesnt give us. her notes are not online.Bottom line. terrible teacher

Dr. Wiegele's class was extremely boring. I found myself writing ZzZz's on my paper during notes. I also found out I should change my major to art because of all the doodleing I did on my notes. Seriously this class can bore you to death! Room is half full on note days, on tests days it fills up. EXPECT FULL CLASSES OF NOTES! and films are on tests

This class is a little dull, but what lecture isnt... If u want a solid teacher who knows what she is talking about, then she is your teacher. Everyone who has left negative comments are prolly just bad students. The class is boring, but she is a great teacher, and if you actually go to class and take notes you will get a good grade.

The most boring teacher i have ever had. she doesnt post her notes on any of the websites. she writes them by hand on an overhead projector and expects you to write them down. her lectures put you to sleep faster than a bottle of nyquil. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES!

If you can take another professor, do. I have never had a more boring teacher in my life. Her exams are difficult, but not impossible if you study. The study guides cover a lot of material, some of which tends to not be on the tests anyway. Seriously, NEVER had a more boring teacher. She makes it impossible to get myself to go to class.

awful class!!!!!! She never teaches herself, she alwyas has guest lecturers making it hard for us to take exams because the material being taught is from other teachers and the tests are made by her, never did so bad in a class, took it as a gen ed but hated every minute of it. lectures are sooooo boring.. awful course!

Always writes her notes on the overhead and easy to understand. Has random quizzes and have to read 4 web articles and discuss in class. Test and quiz questions are worded strangely. The quizzes are easy but don't help your grade that much. Offers 1 extra credit opportunity

Contrary to other responses here, I enjoyed this class and the professor. If you don't have an interest in Anthro, don't take it. Its that simple. Also, if you want to call a teacher a moron, at least know how to spell the damn word correctly. I think the study of humans and primates is quite interesting and I plan on taking more Anth classes.
