What a nice lady. As a person, she's a sweetheart, as a professor, she's brutal. That being said, you have to study your ass off and really try hard to keep on top of everything she wants you to study. I didn't do great in her class, but I completely blame myself for all of it. I know it's college, but don't even consider slacking off...

Ryan says: Never learned so much in an Art History class in my life. Great teacher... and extremely knowledgable. Most say she's hard... but cmon you're in college. Crazy essay tests and midterms will force you to study your ass off. Don't sleep or have your cell go off in class you will get kicked out.

Best recommendation I can give is to listen and take really good notes in class. Study the notes you take and read the material she didn’t cover in the book. There is a lot to memorize but if you really try to be interested in it, its not hard to memorize it. She is a better lecturer then any other art hist teacher and I have had them all.

She is feaking horrible!! I worte everything she meantion on the calsses and still failed the test. She is hard. Yeah, she is good for what she knows but she is to hard for students. 90 pictures and only 3 essay!! How great she is. Even though I used to like art history a lot but becuse of her I dont like art history anymore.

Very difficult teacher. The best advice I can give you is attend class every day and learn to identify all the slides, they are 90% of the class. Make that class a part of your life otherwise you'll struggle to the max. She is a little boring but she knows what she is talking about. This class would be great without midterms.

Yeah she wasn't easy, but you learn in her class. College isn't suppose to be easy in any case. Hell, most of my AP classes in HS are harder than my college classes. It's the only class that I've felt I've actually needed to study and work hard for. I can breeze through most classes. But she is a good teacher.

she's horrible. i can't believe any of you think she is a good teacher. she's unorganized in her notation, has no compassion for human irregularities, and she's just plain boring. i'm sorry that my opinion differs from some, but just to give all who look at these things my feeling on the matter, i suggest you find another elective and if you have a requirement you have to fulfill because she's the only one the teach some levels of art history......... i'm truly sorry for you.

Yes she's hard, but she's upfront about the class. She tells you exactly what she expects and if you don't understand it, it's spelled out in the syllabus. Tests are slide identification in essay format. She keeps you on your toes. If you slack off in school, you shouldn't be in college.

SUPER hard in her class... always gives students a hard time... 80+ pictures need to remember for the mid-term and only test on 10 pictures. you have to remeber all the single details. compare to other class, she is hard. other class only study 15 picture
