I took the course online, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dr. Misulis' online notes were a helpful augmentation to the text. I met Dr. Misulis in person and was highly uncomfortable. She was stiff--definitely not a "people person." I wouldn't take her courses face-to-face, but online Dr. Misulis was great.

Stiff, metallic impersonality; any hint of life is stiff (ala Al Gore); HOWEVER, she does deliver the goods when it comes to content BUT she does treat her students (who were ages 18-50 in my class) like they were in her 5th grade classroom.

I loved this class and I can honestly say she added so much to the experience. I feel better prepared for the classroom now, having taken this course. :)

Take her class if you can help it. The work load is not difficult, she does not give tests, and she is very helpful. She could have written the text herself. You get out of the class what you put into it. Nothing to stress about.

Incredibly well spoken. She is efficient, genuine, and extremely knowledgeable. Probably the greatest example of time-management in the classroom!
