I was honestly so nervous to take stats, but it was required for my major. Prof Rosier was somewhat intimidating at first, but after a few classes I really began to enjoy her. She really made the class so interesting and relates everything we're learning to real life. I will take her again if I get the opportunity.

She is honestly terrible. she goes way too fast through lectures and when you ask her to go back in her lectures she will then degrade you in front of everyone. she explains little to none on all the homework. the SPSS homework honestly sucks because you never fully understand things until she slowly goes through them which never happens.

Rosier is the best professor I have had a CMU so far. Her lectures are extremely clear and teaches in a way that is almost impossible not to understand. There is homework every week but you have a week to do it. She doesn't take attendance, but if you want to do good you have to go. Take notes, study, go to her office hours & you will be fine.

Take Soc200 with Dr. Rosier. She is helpful, accessible and wants everyone to pass. She makes it very easy to learn the material and her tests are reasonable. I first took the class with Almazon and had to drop it because he was hard, I was failing and he made me feel stupid. Rosier made me feel smart again. They couldn't be more different.

Hated her. Really tough grader, needed a 70% to pass, finished with a 69.6% and she didn't round up so I had to take it again.

Lectures are great. Take good notes and study before the exams and you should do well. Beware of pop quizzes so try and read the material or skim through it before class. She's easy to approach and it's best to find a small study group for the class. Definitely would take her class again! Try to go to class!

Doctor Rosier is exactly how I thought all my college professors would be. You can tell that she is a professor because she loves what she does and she is passionate about her work; she isn't just there because she has tenure. If you ever need help, her door is always open and she will give you the help that you need!!

If you have to take SOC200, TAKE HER!! I was so scared to take a stat class because I suck at math but she made me love statistics! Her teaching style is amazing, she really thinks of ways to make sure her students understand the material. Gives homework every week but she gives you the week to do it. Tests aren't difficult if you go to class.

Prof Rosier is a really cool teacher, she uses lots of stories in her lectures. Also most of the stuff in the class you can relate to real life. Choose her for a SOC class.

She really is a great professor. She is very clear in what she wants you to learn, goes though all material thoroughly and makes it understandable. Lots of homework and a few quizzes, but they are actually extremely helpful in understanding the material. Study guides for exams and a lenient grader overall.

When she explains the information it can be very confusing at times. Test are very hard. Likes to give pop quizzes and never know when it will happen, but it's a hug part of your grade. Sometimes when accessing information she assigned to read for class can not open it and makes it sounds like your fault. Show up for class, u will do well.

Prof Rosier is great at what she does and you can tell that she loves to teach. Spent the time to learn each students' name and worked with them until they understood the material. Understanding of life getting in the way of class to a reasonable extent and will cut you a little bit of slack if need be. Wish she was teaching 350 next semester.

Dr. Rosier is a very nice lady, and she is in love with sociology. I recommend taking her class, just be prepared to attend and take good notes. There is assigned reading, usually followed by pop quizzes but the readings are interesting. She loves class discussion and has great stories to go with her lectures, never a dull day!

Rosier was by far one of the best professors I've ever had. She isn't necessarily an "easy" professor, but that's because she wants you to understand concepts, which pays off. She's extremely helpful and it's clear she loves what she teaches. I wish she taught more SOC classes so I could have her again.

Definitely the best teacher that I've ever had. She gives great lectures, and doesn't use powerpoint. Learned the name of every student without doing any dumb games. Very nice and supportive to everyone. You can just tell that she cares about her students and what she's teaching. Would recommend this class to anyone.
