This lady is bent on teaching the few kids who already know how to program while letting the rest of the class get behind. It is also hard to know what the lab assignments actually are. She goes into fits where it seems like she is just assigning so much homework just to get the student frustrated. It is supposed to be a 125 level class!

Excellent instructor! Yes, hard to understand at times but she gets the material across. Always willing to help before and after class, always responds to emails (for myself at least). I would not start with her as your first Computer Science/Programming instructor, though.

There is MUCH content to cover. Yes, boys & girls, you have to work at it. Other comment is right, should be a 2hrs lecture/lab respectively. Not her fault, the department revised it that way. Instructor is very helpful. I would definetly take her class again.

Sometimes difficult to understand because of her pronunciation and odd word usage, but once you get familiar it's not so bad. I would sometimes fluctuate on whether or not I understood the material but always ended up doing ok.

Although I had to withdraw from the class due to health reasons, I was doing very well in class. The lecture can be rather dry at points, but come on folks, it's basic C++ Programming! Her assignments take time because you have to practice and work at programming. She was very fair on grading and was always willing to help. Great teacher...

The work is easy if you already have a basic understanding of programming.Class should be 2 hours of lab and 2 hours of lecture a week but end up being 3 1/2 hours of lecture.Lectures consist of pp presentations(ZzZ).Tests can be tricky but plenty of ec is available.She is helpful but seems snarky.Dont take her as your first programming teacher.

I agree that people are a bit hard on her because she is VERY available and will help any way she can. She tries to let people know they are responsible to do the work but they don't and then whine. But she isn't the best lecturer...just read the book and do your work and ask for help. It's not hard.

The Teacher is absolutely incomprehensible. She trys to explain things so complex that are just simple things. Like she spent a whole class period 3:35 on variables. Was helpful when I needed it (which was a LOT). Very hard to understand her, but if you stick with the book and get help when you're stuck, not too hard to pass. Plenty of extra credit homework available if you fall behind.

She wasn't that bad. The biggest problem I had was that she was pretty hard to understand. I learned a lot in the class though. She was very lenient with her deadlines and grading, but she also had us do a lot more work compared to other teachers. I got an A. If you can get Broquard, DO IT! Her 128 class was fun and easy, though. Take that with her

Race has nothing to do with it. YES, she IS very hard to understand, her drawings on the board make NO sense, and you basically have to send your assignments to her twice because she loses all of them. This is seriously the worst teacher, maybe ever.
