this class was a mess , teacher uses an electronic whiteboard on a tablet & constantly makes mistakes & can't figure the technology out half the time. she makes an obnoxious amount of noises & constantly talks about her grandkids. the tests are hard , & $130 calculator is REQUIRED. homework doesn't cover test material. find another teacher.

I LOVED this prof. If you are mature & actually do your work, you will have no problems with her. I never got less than a 94 on her tests, walked out of that class with a 98%. Come to class, do the work on time, be respectful & you'll be fine. She answered every question I had & didn't make me feel stupid. Even let me make up the final. Love her!

I took her elementary statistics class online. worst experience of my college career.she didnt return a single email, or phone call. I had to teach myself all the material and then she didnt even pick up my final exam to grade! or 7 others for that matter. she has been fired from CCCC's and for good reason!

Very good explanations, best math teacher I have ever had. She lets you bring cheat sheets to all the tests. Gives partial credit for wrong answers. Never got less than a 90 on a test. You don't have to take a final if you're grade is higher than a 93. Grades are scaled. Very easy math teacher.

Run! do not walk, AWAY from this professor. She ids the absolute WORST I have had this school. I took a four week online summer class and she went on VACATION for two of those weeks and she didn't answer any email. I complain to the head of the department, Fran McCutcheon, and Fran covered for her! Save your money and get wait for another teach

Quite possibly the worst teacher of all time. How this teacher still has a job is very beyond me. Those who get her love statistics, as she has no incentive to actually teach, and was rude to all of the students I've seen her talk to. I have a 3.5 gpa and got a D in this class. This should tell you something.

Very arrogant teacher.I hated her.I had her first period and her voice killed me. She assigned a lot of Homework. She worked straight out of the book , everyday, we just took notes from begging to end. Never cut us any slack on the test or quizzes. When no one did the home work , she started giving us quizzes daily.

this lady was awful, i have always gotten A's and B's in math and i almost failed this class. if you ask her a question she barely answers you and looks at you like your an idiot, she makes you not want to ask questions just because you will most likely feel humilated.. DO NOT TAKE HER SHES AWFUL! her voice especially goes right through me!

I read all of these comments and just shrugged it off and assumed it wouldnt be that bad. I was wrong. The girl who sat behind me helped me out more than the teacher did. If you asked her a question shed just glare at you until you figured it out yourself. Our highest test average was a 65. She felt it was our fault not hers.

She was the worst teacher I have ever had. She was teaching statistics and told us that she has never taken a statistics class in her life but took a seminar on how to teach it. She gets things wrong ALL the time and half the time makes mistakes when trying to explain things. DONT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER>>>SHES TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Prof. Soderbom's classes are very difficult. She expects each student to understand her lessons as soon as they are taught and doesn't understand how she can know the information and her students don't. I do not recommend her classes for most students.

The majority of the kids were uhappy, but I think that is indicitive of the maturity level of students in this classroom. These are community college freshman who typically are not applying to competitive programs. This professor compares with 4 year and even grad level, where I am as we speak. The performance she expects prepared me for today.

Understand that this is big time. No tests are scaled and there is a high level of performance expected. 4 of us in a room of 15 actually did well, because we were workers. High level of acedemic maturity needed here. Online parts is awesome though, gives you a chance to practice, really driving it home. Really prepared me for my research class.

The worst math teacher I ever had. She screws up problems all the time and we have to correct her. We even got to use notes for every test and still the majority of the class bombed, she wouldn't even scale the tests. She just projects Word doc. on a screen to teach. DON'T TAKE HER!!
