Professor Simmons knows Biology like he knows that back of his hand. However, he assigns 4 quizzes, 1 final and a BUNCH of online quizzes and hw. You have to study hard, read a lot and ask for help. He helps his students create flash cards for his quizzes and he's also helpful during labs. He's also all business. Do the work and you'll pass.

This Professors is not a good one at all, no matter how hard you study , he will not give you a fair grade. He is verry boring guy, his class is too strict, talk to you like you're a baby, ignored students when they're asking question do not take him if you want to pass your class. When you are taking exam he stand right in front of you .

I really enjoyed taking bio with this professor. He utilizes online aids on top of lectures to help you learn/remember, I found these key for getting ready for tests. He is always willing to help in the lab if you ask. This class was an easy A if you use what he offers. I would absolutely take bio 2 with Simmons! His teaching style is excellent.

Professor Marcs Simmons was a great professor. If you do all the homework, pos labs, pre labs, and really study you won't have a problem getting an A. He teaches well and if you're interested he can stay after class to explain more about the lecture. I would recommend him!

Very understand teacher. He provides many opportunities to get a good grade such as extra credit pages on exams and homework. I had an average grade of 133%+ on homework! He also drops the lowest grade from each category from homework to labs to quizzes to even an exam! I mostly paid attention in class and learned from mastering biology quizzes!

I like his teaching style. He is clear and easy to understand, almost always there to help but I still flip between loving him as a teacher and not being able to stand him. He can be incredibly condescending at random with students and hard to gauge what kind of response you're going to get from him. Expect ALOT of homework, labs are easy.

He is the best of the best! He writes everything you need to know on the board, which is great for visual learners, and proves that he is actually doing what he is paid for, to teach. The class isn't easy, and its not supposed to, otherwise you're not learning. I wish all science professors were like him. Take him, you won't regret it.

Great professor! If you go to class and pay attention you will do well. Gives study guides for each exam which totally prepares you to do very well if you take the time to answer each question on study guide. Makes labs fun and is very helpful in lab. Always takes time to answer questions and will meet with you if you need help.

Wonderful teacher, loves to teach and give enough time for students to ask questions regarding any material that was taught in the duration of the class. Tests are a majority of the class however if you pay attention and do your labs very well no reason why you cannot easily receive at C average.

I strongly recommend him for all the A & P classes. He is the very best for this course. He is very supportive, organized, articulates his program in a way that is easy to follow and prepare for exams. I regret that his time frame did not meet mine when it came time to do A & P II.

I had Professor Simmons for Animal Behavior and I thought that he was great. You will do well if you take good notes, study for the tests and quizzes, and do the homework. He definitely knows the material, it is his life's work. He is so intelligent and helpful. I would gladly take another course with him.
