Bracken is the worst professor I have ever had. I got A's on all my english papers in high school and she gave me B-'s. She doesn't know how to explain anything and she doesn't teach. If I could give negative points I would!

Her class is very slow and boring, half of the class is spent just sitting there totally silent while she tries to figure out what is going on. She is horrible at explaining things, she has quizes every week, and half of them are hard to understand. Don't take this class if you don't have to!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER!!!! She is very unclear and very unhelpful. Some of her grammar quizes are totally unfair, and when the class argues to her about them, she has no explanation. She is absolutely ridiculous with grading essays too. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Wishing I would have tried CLEP. My HS english teacher was more informed. She seems to make up her class agenda as we go along. If you ask her to explain why something is, she usually can't. If you know english on your own like I do, it's easy. If you struggle, find someone else.
