I also agree with statements to the effect of, she's a raving hippie lunatic. This was supposed to be an introductory course but she takes herself way too seriously. And she does count attendance.

you'll get good grades from kautzer if you just show her the slightest bit of effort. she always lets you have one late paper and isn't that picky about attendance. some people say she is crazy and rants in class but she has mellowed a lot, and doesn't preach as much.

prof kautzer is a complete dirty hippie who never bathes. she's stuck in the 60's and looks like she's still doin drugs. she goes off in rants in class and preaches her opinions rather than teaching the subjec matter. she is not very open minded to non liberal views.

Dr. Kautzer is not only an inspiring teacher, but an inspiring human being. She is absolutley amazing! Her teaching truly changed my life and my feeling towards education, and many students I know feel this way.
