McQuaid is a good prof. She is my adviser and very helpful. 210 isn't that hard unless you never come to class and don't glance over the book. The Citizen Project helped me gain experience and an internship. If you took POLI 105 its pretty similar but its a good class. Enjoyed it!!!

She definitely knows her stuff but her class is a bit dry. She tends to go all of the place. We'll be talking about bicameral legislature and then she'll go off into anthropology and human essence. And yes for her state and local government class she does require a 14 hour project. She's smart but I don't like her class overall. I wish I dropped it

Comment:

McQuaid is a very nice professor, however her class is very demanding of your time. You need to do a External Experience of 14 hours for her State & Local Government class. You absolutely must have and read your book to do well on her test. Also her notes are sometimes confussing but make sure you take them and attend class.

I've had her for so many classes. She is politically biased, but gives everyone the chance to speak their mind. She teaches you how to defend your opinion. Her Constitutional Law class was the best, but I also liked her seminars. She really is by far one of the greatest teachers at Lock Haven. I strongly suggest you take her for at least State and Local Government, just be prepared for hands on activity. Four years later I'm still participating in government because of this class. Enjoy!

Pretty boring class unless you're into politics. Her notes don't make sense, and the tests are focused on definitions from the text that you've never even gone over in class. The EE project was nice though...no final exam!
