Ziegler was a really good professor, really enjoys what he does and is passionate about the subject. Had to enter an aviation competition and give a couple presentations. Had 3 easy quizzes throughout as log as you're paying attention. Was able to work in groups a lot which was fun.

Ziegler is a great guy for sure. And going into CS 211 without any programming experience, I did learn a bit about programming. But overall, the tests are weighted too heavily when the emphasis should be on writing programs, not on the missing semicolon at the end of a line of code. I also wanted to know why programming worked, which wasn't covered

I've read the rough drafts of people's works. They were bad. If you suck at writing, you won't gain much from this class because you're expected to know how to write already. Things got confusing at times but in the end I learned a lot about the business world and came out on top in a competition. Zigler is a cool guy.

Sure this class was a good amount of work but our classes came in first in a NATIONAL COMPETITIOPN he had us work on throughout the semester and some of us even got to go to Philly to present our work!! Every person in the class received money from winning the competition and that is ALL DUE TO ZIEGLER!! Anyone who bashes him doesn't belong at BU

This guy is absolutely ridiculous. Argues that this class is critical for successful computer scientists yet this class has little, if any, relevance to the computer science field. Way too picky regarding writing styles. He insists that everything is written to his self-proclaimed great formats and standards. Horrible professor, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Zieglers a nice guy who really cares about his students, it doesnt take long to realize this. He really likes when students do quality work and will reward for that. The course itself didn't give me back as much as i would have liked, but I do feel like I have learned a lot about the complexity of project management and related. Recommended.

I'm not sure if this guy could program his way out of a wet paper bag. But this class is interesting if you like building ciruits. Work is tedious, but you can sleep through class and get an A. It doesn't get easier than this.

how can someone who's computer illiterate get a job as a CS professor? take a class with this man and find out. vague expectations, unfair evaluation system, pointless busy work assignments, lectures are BS. only has a high ranking because 210 is so easy. if you want to learn, take something else.

One of the best teachers that ive had in a long time. Interesting class that trailed off towards the end (just more of the same). Grading system is so in your favor. I reccommend highly.
