I took Professor Montgomery's special topics class that she taught with Professor Ferradans, and I absolutely loved it! She's a wonderful professor with a great sense of humor. I learned about such a fascinating topic and enjoyed myself so much. She's also a relatively easy grader, so I never felt stressed out by the class.

I. Love. Her. A truly amazing professor. She is ever so passionate about her women and politics class, and after hearing her lecture, you will be too. Her lectures are hilarious and intelligent. Hefty readings, but you can get away with only skimming them, for the most part. SHE IS A GEM.

Professor Montgomery is the main reason I choose to become a political science major. Her lectures are powerpoint based and goes off of that so it's easy to follow and take notes. She is INCREDIBLY helpful & always stresses that she's there for her students. As long as you put in the effort, she will reciprocate that. An amazing, amazing professor.

Montgomery can be a bit of stickler with details, and she packs on the assignments, but she is a very nice professor that has a lot of knowledge to share. She can be hard, but she isn't impossible. She's also pretty hot.

Best professor at IWU. Her class was interesting and I really learned a lot. So much of the material I learned I've been able to use in other classes, as well. Can be challenging but she's very straight-forward and willing to help. I highly suggest taking her for an interesting and challenging political science course!

Professor Montgomery was an amazing freshman Gateway professor. I had her for "Sprawl". She expects a lot out of you, but if you do your work and show her that you are putting forth your best effort you will get a good grade. She really cares about her students. Uses moodle a lot. I didnt even sign up for this gateway(SPRAWL), but I ended up loving it! she is the best prof i have had so far. she makes you work pretty hard, but is extremely helpful and teaches you a lot. my writing has improved so much and the papers she has you do really apply to other classes. overall AWESOME prof =)))
