This class changed my life. Professor Tyler brings a whole different meaning to psych,and really inspired me to keep my passion for working in the mental health field. Classes are almost always lectures but theyre never boring, always interesting and educational at the same time. Theres 1 term paper which is simple and 3 exams you need study for!

Professor Tyler gave us a clear syllabus and was a fair grader... the only thing I wish was that she actually answered my emails. She would respond 2-3 days later and it was inconvenient when I had questions in regards to a test or paper due. Overall a good professor. Just read the textbook and youll pass. You definitely need to study.

Great professor. She's funny and engages the class in open conversation. Gets a little draggy but it happens. Test are easy if you review her powerpoint, study sheets, and read the book. One 5 Pg paper. She is really super cool and understanding. I will take classes with her again if I take psych. Take her you won't regret it promise.

Great teacher all around. The lectures were long but she always kept them interesting and interacted with the class. There are three tests which are all multiple choice. STUDY . She also assigns a paper that must be 5- 8 pages in length and gives you until the end of the semester to complete it. Text book is a MUST HAVE.

This teacher was nice but she never slowed down with the slideshows so you couldn't copy notes. Notes are online but for people like me that need to copy them it was difficult.

love professor tyler. a really nice teacher and amazing person. please take her. i promise you will not regret it. a word of caution USE THE TEXTBOOK and follow her notes and study guide. they are there for a reason and are extremely helpful for the tests. paper is a piece of cake.

she was a really good professor. her notes on the chalkboard are definitions u should know for the test. she is extremely thorough in preparing you for her tests and an extremely nice person. i am taking another psych class she is teaching because i trust her teaching style. i highly recommend her.

Contrary to prior ratings, her class is not an easy pass. Studying for her tests is an absolute must. Her notes are given more verbally than on the chalkboard, but she uses everyday experiences to give further definition to terms which prove interesting. When all is said and done she is a good professor, and supportive of her student's abilities.

This professor made this class interesting not only with her stories but also that she let everyone in the class contribute to the lectures. I felt the tests weren't that easy but the papers are simple. Also, she is REALLY strict on attendance and being late. She is a genuinely sweet professor and does care about each student. I'd recommend her!

Her lectures are very interesting, her notes are straightforward and tells you exactly what's going to be on every exam, she incorporates personal experiences from her job which makes the materal even more interesting. Amazing Professor--if you have a chance to take her class--do it. She gives easy tests, one paper and has great stories from her job. She likes to cry at the end. She has a genuine love for her students. Follow the reading in the text and you will have no problem with the tests. Great Professor.

i am taking Prof. Tyler this semester (Spring 06') She is an awesome professor. easy too. although i have her at 8am, you think everyone would be sleeping but she makes class fun. bring a sweatshirt though. she likes to open the windows. TAKE HER CLASS!

I had professor Tyler in Fall 2004. She is EXCELLENT!!!!! The class FLEW by, she is SO interesting, YOU will NOT be bored and will learn alot!!! This is a lecture class, but she has soo many interesting scenerios of her other job to add to class discussion and it all meshes into the topic one is studying. LOVE her!! You will Too!!!!

I had Ms. Tyler in the spring of '04, and she was the *best* professor ever. You know how the 3-hour once-a-week classes til 9pm can seem like hell? Hers isn't, she makes them a BLAST. Fun stories and games, she really goes out of her way to help you understand the material. She has a natural ability for teaching! Take her class if you can!
