I had a 4.0 in accounting before I took tax with her. Considering that her job is only to translate or explain what a bunch of pedantic and complicated congressmen and IRS officials have written (the Tax Code), she was barely adequate. But the DSB likes to reward bad teachers, and she has the monopoly on tax courses. Complain to the dean.

Great professor! I was not looking forward to Tax classes but because of her I will have a career in tax. Very helpful. Open note and book tests are tough but she's easy to understand.

LOVE HER! Open book exams but it's not a blow off class. Very open to questions and suggestions about the format of exams/classes. Very knowledgeable and willing to help you out. Not an easy class but if you don't do well, it's your own fault.

I heard awful rumors about her, but she really grew on me. I think she is trying to be more fair- the tests are a little difficult because they are too long for the time allowed, but otherwise she was one of my favorite teachers. I think she is pretty nice.

She is extremely clear and very helpful. I don't feel bad for the people who got bad grades, just because her tests were open book, did not mean you didn't have to study. Her tests seemed long to the people who didn't study. LOVED HER!
