This class should've been so easy for me, considering I took Economics in high school. But this prof literally made it so much harder than it should've been. Very old-fashioned, lectures the whole hour and 15 mins of the class, she babbles on and on, her handwriting is terrible, her tests and quizzes are so hard. Drop the class. NOW.

Do NOT sign up for any classes taught by this professor. Horrible lecturer, confusing notes, very old fashioned (referred to PowerPoint as "this horrible new fancy technology"). Will require you to buy an online access code, but doesn't assign any homework online. Does not respond well to student's questions. Overall- horrible professor.

This by far was my hardest class, I didn't understand mostly anything she was talking about. I would do all her work & read the textbook and still not understand what she was talking about. I dropped the class half way through the semester. I wouldn't recommend this class. She also is a very old school style teacher. Nothing is online.

Comment:

Prof. Zarnosky's intro to macroeconomics was the hardest course i've taken thus far. The prof isn't very pleasant or friendly because if someone asks a question she doesn't like she gets very irritated creating a negative environment. There are three very long exams 80 questions ea. (you can omit 5). The prof did give extra credit assignments.

She was a VERY hard professor. Her lectures rarely had anything to do with the questions that were on the tests, and the LOADS of homework that were due the day of the test were terrible. Very difficult class.

I went into macro excited to learn the subject... Prof did not seem very excited to enlighten us. She chose to spend class time lecturing.. every single day. When she didn't lecture, she went off on political rants about who she dislikes & why they're horrible people. When students disagreed with them, she insulted them. gave tons of extra credit.

Recommend a different teacher. Very old fashioned. Uses out dated technology to present notes. Notes are very confusing, a lot abbreviations. Homework's are long and pointless. Tests are very long and repetitive. No review before a tests or quizzes.

Every class is a lecture. Every. Class. Her lectures are filled with transparency slides with incredibly sloppy handwriting and confusing abbreviations. She is so distracted and goes off on so many tangents that I do not even know what is actual information, versus a side comment that has turned into a 10 minute side lecture. DO NOT TAKE HER. DON'T

Very old fashioned teacher, but that did not affect my learning experience. She really tries to help you out with you grade as long as you show up to class, do homework and read the textbook. Homework is sort of long but is only assigned 5 times. Tests are lengthy but there are always two extra credit assignments that help your final grade.

This professor is awful. She makes absolutely no sense when she speaks. She makes the subject ten times more difficult than it should be. Very boring to listen to. Her tests are ridiculous. I have no idea how I got the grade I received at the end of the semester, but there must have been some serious curving for all students. Avoid this lady.

Just horrendous. I'm talking so bad myself and a group of students in my particular class had to meet with the Rowan Chairman for Political Science/Econ. If you feel the same way I do I urge you to meet with the chairman to possibly dissolve her. Its a real shame when a teacher gives 10% of a grade in the form of extra credit.

Zarnosky is a nice woman if you speak to her one-on-one, however her tests are extremely hard even if you study for them a week in advance. The problem is that she doesn't explain the information well, because I don't believe she knows how to. All of the wording she uses is complex and even more confusing. The homework takes forever too.

Is a mean person, she doesn't care at all, her notes are horrible and so is her hand writing. Her attitude towards students is almost scary, im still in shock that a university could keep her as a professor
