Not only is Kathryn an absolutely incredible prof, but an amazing woman. She is so talented, caring and truly wants you to succeed at growing in your acting skills. If you have the chance, TAKE HER CLASS. She may be one of the only profs you have at the U of R who presents opportunities for personal growth and makes you feel cared for.

Kathryn was an excellent teacher. She marked very fairly, and was a joy to learn from. She made very good use of our class time and gave great advice and criticism while always maintaining a welcoming and accepting atmosphere in the classroom. I highly recommend taking this class with her.

I did not enjoy this class and she seemed very difficult to communicate with. She lacked an understanding for peoples own inspirations and their own interpretations of the performances.

I took this class because I love acting... she refers to the class as a movement class and bases all the assignments on movement. We have yet to do anything that actually involves acting. It's great to learn about how to create characters with your body, but I would have loved to see some techniques taught that involved acting and not just movement

Inspiring and constructive. Kathryn knows her stuff and really understands how to bring your to character life. Of course you have to try to do well, but she is willing to reward your efforts. Because of Kathryn I am a better actor!
