I freaking love this woman! She has a fair amount for her work load but as long as you communicate with her and actually put in some effort in her class she is willing to go above and beyond for any of her students. An absolute gem of an instructor! 20 out of 10, would take classes with her again!!!

Comment:

Madame Slott is tough; constantly pushes you to do your best, but she sincerely cares about her students on a personal and academic level. The workload is manageable, and the tests are long, but you can ask her for more time and she will give it to you. The same goes for homework assignments. Very knowledgable about French, as well as all language.

Everyone is correct in saying she is definitely someone you have to get used to. Stay on her good side, be on time, and DO NOT speak English in her classroom-there is nothing that annoys her more than when people don't try to speak French!

Prof. Slott is very nice and helpful, and although she is fairly disorganized she will help you if you have questions and make sure you understand the material. She definitely has a lot of knowledge about French!

Prof. Slott is wonderful. Her class can be very dry at times, but she means well and is always there to get extra help. It's obvious that she cares a lot about how her students do in and out of the classroom. She knows her French!

She is a bit disorganized so it is hard to get real feadback on exams. But she really cares about students, and french. She assigns a lot of work, and there is usually opportunity for extra credit. Once you get used to her she is not intimitating at all.

Professor Slott is awesome! I was pregnant during her class, 3rd floor. She bought me a baby gift! She truly was interested in her students and cared, more than I can say for most.
