There is no Moodle page for this course. Atttend every lecture and take notes during class ( Preferably on your laptop if you are fast at typing coz she talks fast) and also record the lecture on your phone! The course is pure memorization and tests are as straight forward as they can be! Assignments are a breeze and of course Kathy is amazing!

Comment:

Exams are based on lectures, there is no textbook or website. Take notes, but most importantly record the lecture and go over it. Details matter, and examples are required on the exams for full marks. Exams mostly look for one word answers + an example, or a summary of a list of concepts. Overall an easy course, she makes the lectures enjoyable.

skip class? you won't pass. That's for sure in aging kine3350. If you're the type of person that goes to every class and takes good notes than its and EASY A. don't listen to other reviews, i promise. I started studying four days before the final and just used my written notes and got perf. TAKE NOTES ON EVERYTHING SHE SAYS and its an easy A

For me, it was an interesting course. But I had to work quite hard to do well. You must record the lecture and write the every single word which she says. Then you would get an A or A+.

Kathy's way of teaching is extremely dry: you get a lecture, some projected notes, a couple of handouts and 1 movie for this class. There are no power point slides, no Moodle and no recordings. If you record the class yourself and write down all of the details Kathy discusses, you are guaranteed an easy A. Lecture content was extremely interesting.

Prof Kathy is very sweet and a great person but not a great professor :(. I studied my butt off and still got a B at the end of the class, even though the assignments were very easy and fun, the midterm and the final exam were insanely detailed. Basically any little detail in class will be on the test. Too much memorization, that I forgot already.

Lots of memorization. Need to take note of everything little thing she says, even if the information does not seem important, because it WILL be on the test. Tests are mostly one word short answer. She speaks relatively fast, and she's very disorganized. Vague overhead slides (no moodle & no powerpoint ) so you need to pay attention!

Reads off of overheard slides and very unorganized, it's not hard to get an A as long as you show up and take good notes. Her tests are are one word memorization but there is alot of info you need to know.

Kathy's class can be dry, but she herself is quite feisty and funny. It's true that it's hard to take notes efficiently (no slides, talks fast), but I found that her tests were fair. She is very accommodating (I couldn't take the exam at the schedule time) and very nice! Not sure I'd take another class with her, but I don't regret taking this one.

Avoid the class at all costs. Like many people, I thought I would be able to do well in this course regardless of what people have said. There is NO textbook, slides, or material you can refer to. You just take notes in class and she tests you on literally ANYTHING she has said. Tests were very tough.

I had her for Field Hockey 1 for the 4 day condensed period. She was helpful and encouraging and even though she takes things seriously for a pkin, it helped you learn the skills required for Field Hockey. Would recommend a pkin with her!

Her exams are absurd... you dont' know what will be on the exam, and you're not sure what is even in the course. she speaks at a constant pace, but not fast enough to write every single detail down, which may be tested. There is no course texts, would've been very helpful is there was. Learned nothing in this class.

Probably the worst professor in KINE. Reads off her little printed out pages and expects you to know every single little false fact she says. Also, she announces the names of students who do well on the first test so its pretty embarrassing for those who don't do well... I don't even see the point of doing this in the first place?

No text, poor overheads. You need to go to class and regurgitate whatever nonsense she gives to do well on the exams. Her info is out of date (or completely wrong in some cases), but she thinks she knows what she's talking about! Can't believe I paid to listen to it or that York lets a prof stand in front of students and lecture unfactual info.
