She's a funny prof with a lot of experience in what she does. Her slides for this class said almost everything you'll need to know. Exams for the class in general were not too difficult, if you study.

Very sweet professor who spoke at a reasonable pace and made the information easy to learn. I highly recommend her. However I did take the class that was split between three professors which made the overall course more difficult. Dr. Magor was my favourite of the three.

Dr. Magor was a great lecturer, but virology can get confusing. I don't think you'll be fine in her section if you work hard, because her questions don't test major concept and rather are just tricks - you can know your stuff and still get them wrong. I don't really know what advice to give this it's kind of just a losing battle.

Dr. Magor's virology lectures of the course were the most engaging and interesting of all 3 sections. Her lecture slides are only supplementary, so attendance is a must. The final exam was trickier than expected, with lots of questions on symptoms and small details, but generally a fair exam otherwise. Work hard and you'll be fine!

She not only teaches course content, she also brings in news about immunology and outbreaks and teaches us about the social and public aspect of outbreaks and disease. She makes the class actually interesting instead of just another generic memorization challenge.

Exams were unnecessarily tricky. Questioned us on matieral from the notes that had 1 slide aka zika virus. tested us on geography aka ebola. tested us on symptoms. overall she tested us on stuff that was VERY minimal in our notes. That said, she is a good teacher, got the message through and all that. Record her if you can, WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN

I really enjoyed her lectures, although I will agree that her notes are a bit unorganized and hard to study from sometimes. The final was meant to be easy, but she tested on a few things that she definitely never said in class, nor where they in her notes.

Great prof, in my mind. She teaches the virology section, my favorite unit. Sometimes her notes are a little disorganized, but this year at least, she pretty much test only from what was on the notes (as opposed to what she said). I missed a couple lectures so I had to teach my self some stuff, but she is very kind and easy to talk to.

Magor was as good of an instructor as Foley, her exam was fair and she managed to write questions that actually tested concepts rather than memorization. Understand the concepts she explained through examples. She does put article abstracts on the test for reading comp which is an easy few marks to get!

Slides are supplementary to the lecture, so basically if you don't take your own notes on what she is saying you won't have a good time. Felt like her exam wasn't too bad at all, but she did test on some things that were not emphasized in her topics (eg, tons of questions about SARS virus). Overall not bad. 60% average on the midterm.

Tests on what she says in class. I typed out as much as I could word for word in her class, and the smallest thing you could miss, she would test on. Her slides need to be organized better, the information is all over the place and had to retype everything and makes it hard to prepare for exam. She seems unsure of herself when she speaks in class.

Awful teacher. One of those prof's that emphasizes "application" questions, which is fine, except she doesn't know how to write fair questions and does a terrible job explaining the concepts. Always says I'm not sure when asked a question. I got 100% on Foley's midterm, studied harder for hers, and still got only 73.

She is such a nice person but a horrible professor. She seems very unsure of anything which is understandable being virology but was not clear or helpful at all. Her exams are terrible, they are so poorly written and everything you go into detail in the notes is not even on there but rather the most insignificant details ever. Avoid this prof !

Very monotonous & most boring of all three profs. However, her part is very engaging. Must attend class & be thorough with notes. Midterm is not very hard if you do study well & pay attention to her.

Anyone having to follow up after Foley isn't going to have it easy. But she didn't even try to explain concepts clearly. She breezed over important points and then tested them in detail, and mostly on what she said rather than what was in the notes. She also puts an abstract on her midterm with questions that are basically impossible.

Did not enjoy this prof. Extremely disorganized with her notes, she glazed over seemingly important points, while spending time on irrelevant topics. Her midterm was largely based on insignificant details and she quizzes a lot on what she says in class as well. Overall NOT recommended.

I gave her an excellent course eval(before the midterm), because I really enjoyed her lectures. Too many students want to be spoon-fed in this course. But her midterm was patently unfair-- asking on concepts that she was intentionally ambiguous on. Relied too heavily on the TAs.

Boring prof, difficult to listen to because of her monotone voice, and her tests are on small almost irrelevant points. If she mentioned a word in passing, it is probably on the exam
