Kathy is an absolute charm. She keeps lectures interesting, and she is very open to new ideas and does her best to answer every question that a student asks. Four tests throughout the semester is what your grades depend on. Final test is on one chapter only, giving lots of opportunity to acing the test. Very amazing teacher, will take again.

Kathy is a good professor. She really tries to make things clear when you have questions. The class is out of 1000 points and she curves it at the end. There are 3 big exams but with homework and activities we did for before the exams, they were a breeze. 10/10 would recommend.

Difficult class. Answers to test questions are never clear. Professor doesn't always respond to your emails.

I've taken multiple classes from Kathy, she is actually my advisor. She is truly an amazing professor. She is passionate about her classes and students. Her classes are difficult, but worth it. I would highly recommend taking classes with her.

No finals but some ambiguous concepts/arguments are difficult to determine for sure. Her way is the high way, but if the class argues hard enough, she might give a free point for it. Also, she has got a Labrador.

Homework is difficult, but she curves all grades at the end of the semester. I loved having Uradnik and would definitely recommend taking this class. If you listen to her lectures you won't even have to read the book, although the book is mandatory since we do online homework. She's loud and outgoing which makes lectures more interesting.

Assigns an online textbook for the class. The online textbook comes with homework that's supposed to assist understanding for the actual graded homework. Personally, the textbook homework and the graded homework were usually two very different topics. In class, her voice is pretty annoying, but she does explain a lot and her lectures are helpful

Kathy wants her students to do well. She will cut out extra assignments and chapters to make things easier for everyone. She's interesting and funny and keeps in great contact via email. The material can be difficult, but she is beyond helpful. I would recommend her to anyone who has to take a polysci class.

First time with the class she seemed a bit confused on some things and could argue almost any point in the class She was very very nice, fun and funny to listen to, cut out huge parts of the class to make it easier and gave everyone a 100% on their papers just to help our grades. Overall not as bad as the other students said! just hard to get an A.

First time offering this course, I think she was more confused then most of the students. Very ambiguous grading, almost every answer was able to be questioned and argued to get the points. I think she would be a better teacher in a subject that she has done before. Horrible first class, wouldn't recommend it unless there are major changes.

First time class was offered so there were a lot of kinks to work out. Grading is very subjective. You can argue your answers for credit, but the problem lies within the grading system. Only one paper was assigned out of the 4. She attempts to expose students to what the college has to offer. Nice Professor, bad grading scheme. Flip a coin on this

If you are a pre-law major like me, take her. Her class was pure lecture and read the text for the book. It was a pretty easy class, my grade went higher with each test. But I went and talked to her about my major and she was really helpful and listened to me and gave me great advice. Take her if you are interested in politics, the best!

Uradnik is the BEST professor I've had yet. She is very approachable, helpful, and clear. Unlike most profs who are very biased, she clearly presents both sides fairly and won't push her agenda on you. Pay attention in lecture and fill out the study guide and you'll do well! Never learned (and retained)so much from one class, she's amazing.

Kathy is the example by which all other teachers should look to. She is the kind of teacher who genuinely cares about her student's welfare, and performance in the classroom. Her lectures are humorous and informative; while at the same time, are easy to follow along with and understand. If you have a chance to take one of her classes, ENROLL ASAP!

We need more ppl like Kathy in this world. She doesnt bash you for not understanding the material, but rather helps. I got a horrible grade on a paper and she actually had me come back in so we could go over it. She then let me rewrite the whole thing. She is an actual people person unlike many profs at state.
