Since she retired after this class, I can only say we need more new professors like her. best part is that she was a moderate conservative. I am pretty sick of texts and school curricula that pushes a liberalism. Was great to finally not have Liberal viewpoints pushed on me

This is an easy class so long as you attend class, pay attention, and study the material. If you are interested in an overview of history up to the Renaissance, this is the teacher to take. THIS PROFESSOR IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. SHE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING THAT SHE IS TEACHING AS WELL AS BRING IT TO LIFE. IT IS NOT A HARD CLASS AT ALL BUT IF YOU ARE LAZY YOU WILL FAIL. AMAZING!!! You will fail if you do not memorize her notes but she goes over them so much, it is not as hard as you may think. Very intense about the subject which carries on to the students. Very helpful during office hours if you are not getiing it.I learned more in this class than in any other class that I have taken.

LOVED this instructor! One of the few classes I looked forward to attending. Easy A if you do the assignments; material drilled in your head. Fascinating stories about travel and personal experiences. Doesn't make you buy a textbook; instead issued her own study guide that only cost about $8. Attend class and do your assignments and you'll be ok.
