This guy has no idea how to explain concepts. The most scatterbrained professor at WPI. He has no idea what he's talking about half the time (doesn't know how to do his own HW). His posted assignments are a different version than those he hands out in class! This guy spends zero time concerned with undegrad. Steer clear!!

Worst professor in ECE. He gives awful explanations that make no sense. He interuses terms you never heard of. You've never seen the material on the homework. He wrote his book so it's zero help. His tests are incredibly hard. He will not help you outside of class. Extremely dissorganized. Avoid at all costs. You've no idea if you have an A or F.

As a professor he lacks the ability to convey his ideas to the class. Gives moral lectures more compared to what is required. Talks about his own personal achievement more which is totally unnecessary. Often talks about entrepreneurship more than what should be taught. Professor Wyglinsky is way better and knowledgeable.

This professor is incredibly intelligent. If you're a zombie student who doesn't ask questions you'll have a higher chance of getting lost. Helpful through e-mail/office hours. The key is to ask questions if you get lost and not expect him to know Wireless networks AND exactly how much you know too!

He is supposedly well-reputed in the field of Wireless, but honestly I think he is dumb - atleast as an instructor. I think the guy's brain is fried from thinking too much about wireless. His lectures and his damn BOOK are all over the place. I didnt learn much from the class, although it was an easy 'A'. Overall: Not worth your tuition.

Pahlavan is a founding father of Wireless Networking. He cannot, however, convey information clearly. The class work and book is scattered and dense. Tests involved overly complicated math. I learned little and was bored to death. Avoid like the plague.

Palavan was the absolute worst professor I have ever had. He does not communicate well at all. He wrote the book for this class, and the book is mostly useless. He jumps around in class and speeks in a heavy monotone.
