She is really caring and warm. She will tell you what you need to do and bend over backwards to help you out and make it work, but she may not be critical or strict enough for students that need a little nudge. She told me what I needed to do, I just had to self-motivate. She's a support, not a critic.

She is a very nice person. BUT, I learned nothing in her class. Her critique is useless and unprofessional. I will NEVER take her class again. A waste of my time and money. She is conservative, she has a narrow mind that doesn't understand the creativity from our generation. Her attitude is awful when she critiques your work. BAD.

Her lectures usually don't make sense, and she has a super quiet voice so you can barely understand her. Everytime she assigns a project, we all do something different because she isn't an effective communicator. The upsides? She gives you plenty of time to work on assignments during class. And she's genuinely nice.

I think her class was great !!!!!!! I LOVE KAY best teacher I've had at Columbia.... for real.... genuine, honest, caring, great teacher some people don't understand her style of teaching she seems too laid back sometimes, but she just wants to give people the freedom to be and do whatever art they want... very inspiring and a lot of artistic freed
