She is such an intelligence amazing teacher. Homework was mainly readings from the book, 20 page readings and/or journal entries on blackboard. The class is highly reading and writing intensive-so if you struggle as a writer it might be a difficult class. However she is highly aware of each student's progress and you can always talk to her!

Obviously passionate and informed on what she is teaching and runs a very professional class. However, she is a very tough grader on papers. I haven't seen anyone get a definitive "A" on a paper once in the class. Definitely a class to go to the Writing Center for.

Dr. Kahlenberg is so smart and a very invested, passionate teacher. At times, she is hard to understand because she uses advanced language, but she is a great teacher. She really cares about all of her students learning, and she loves when you participate and involve yourself in class. She's a great woman, and truly cares about her students.

Best professor yet at Muhlenberg! Loved this class. Dr. Kahlenberg uses so many real life examples in every class to make sense of the material. Highly recommend this course and Dr. Kahlenberg! Cute to boot!

Kahlenberg is great. She is really helpful and genuinely wants her students to excel. She uses way to many big words, which is really annoying if you are confused, but other than that she is great. Very helpful on papers. Easy tests. Loved her!

Kahlenberg is a great teacher and very understanding. She teaches concepts very well. She also uses all of the materials to cover the information in the class and you NEED to do the readings. I have learned alot from her.

Very excited about teaching, and her love of Diet Coke is funny. Her exams are very fair as long as you take notes and pay attention. Papers are easy as long as you find something you're interested in and relate it to class. Very flexible and eager to make sure her students are doing well.

I find her really interesting. She provides great examples and knows her stuff. Campaigns require that you do the reading (wish other students realized this), but one of the best profs I've had at the 'Berg. Her commitment to students is unmatched by others I've taken classes with.

She is extremely nice and knows her stuff... She is available to talk to and loves to clarify... But she is boring. When she talks, I feel my skin peeling off. All she does it talk all class (lecture) while pretending she is having an open discussion. She never REALLY gives us any grades until the mid-term (unfair) and again, she is VERY boring.
