This is a really intersting class. I wish it could be offerd twice a week instead once a week. I think a once a week 3 hour class makes it hard. There is just so much to take in. You will learn a lot of things about the English langiage that you didn't realize you already knew. Great class! Great prof!

I had her for Voice and Diction so I tok this class thinking it would be fun... NOT. We rarely used the book and the course was ineffective to me. SHe grades way to hard on research papers.

Language in Society, a sociolinguistics class, was offered for the first time this semester. It is a great class with a great prof. She gets the class very involved. It is kind of hard to be in this class and not want to discuss things. Requires a lot, but it is worth it.

A very good teacher but very hard. You must study. If you do not study you will NOT pass.She taught me to study and made me a great student. I went from a F at midterm to an B at the end. It is possible.
