Prof is knowledgeable and accessible-wonderful person. Tough subject overall, but she will help you through it. Expect a lot of memorization first half. Only complaint is that she doesn't always have control of the students. I get frustrated when I see a prof pushed around by underclassmen who don't know when to shut their mouths. Deserves better.

A very nice lady. The exams were essay format (which I like). It lets you study the main concepts and not minute details, which is good. The book is pretty accessible, and she has us do groupwork which helps clarify ideas. She seems a bit lost on how to regain focus from the class sometimes, but I think that's on the students more than anything.

This course is a requirement for English Specialization in Writing. I didn't really have much interest in taking the course, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I took the course online, and things were pretty well organized and due dates were clear. Like any online class, you just have to concentrate on staying on top of things.

She is very capable, interesting, and laid back. Not into stringent or tricky tests or assignments, but she does give several busy-work assignments (even though they are easy). Tests are multiple choice type with short answer essays. She has the class do lots of discussion and activities (they are NOT wasteful) to get them thinking for themselves.

Had to take the class as a pre-req but it wasn't as bad as I thought. She is a nice person and very understanding about abscences. her teaching is a bit lacking and she uses terrible examples. She often giggles for no apparent reason- and seems nervous in her occupation.
