the class is HARD if you don't do your homework, and i mean DO IT. the homework is alot (hours). and if you will use chegg to do it then you WILL FAIL, but if you do it and use chegg to check/ understand then you are good. be ACTIVE in class, and go to his office, he will help you if you, try and not just looking for quick answer. Amazing prof.

Dr. Agre is an excellent professor. He's clear about grading and homework. His tests, while difficult, are a fair measure of what you've learned during the semester, and he's very helpful in getting you prepared. It's obvious that he cares a great deal about the success of his students and the material. Attendance not required, but is recommended.

Agre is the best of the best. He takes a hard subject and explains it well. If you are taking upper level math classes and expect it to be easy, then don't take Agre. He expects you to put in work. Diff eq was rough but made it out with a good grade cause of his teaching style.

He is easily the best and most reasonable math professor at SCSU. It is not an easy class as you will have to work extremely hard for a good grade but he truly cares how you are doing in the class. The tests are hard but his reviews are very similar to the test so you know what the tests will be like. Take him and you will not regret it

Agre is a great professor! Attending his lectures and doing the homework it all I needed to stay well afloat in class. Yes, the homework is a living hell but you end up seeing the value as the class goes on. Overall great professor, enjoyed his class and he the best math professor in SCSU in my opinion!!

Dr. Agre was a great professor! His teaching style worked great for me (I'm a visual learner), and he was extremely helpful when I asked questions on both homework and take home-exams. His tests follow his practice exams (which were super helpful) , which follow his homework. A tough class in general, but his tests were fair.

Dr. Agre is the nicest guy you'll meet. Always is open to questions via office hours or email. That being said, I do not learn well from him. His lectures just don't click for me, and this is my 3rd class with him. Took DiffEq, Real Analysis, and Partial-DiffEq. Has homework, and a few tests. You could do a lot worse in the math department.

Good guy. His teaching style and my learning style were not compatible, still managed to do well in the class. It's a math class, long hw hours and study sessions for exams should be expected. Very approachable, I would definitely recommend him.

The best math professor. Very understandable, approachable, and he explains things very well. There is bookwork and MATHXL online. Bookwork is due every Tuesday and Friday. 4 exams and a final. Don't get me wrong, this isn't an easy class, but with this professor and you pay attention, you will be fine. Ignore the negative comments and take him!

Prof Agre does not conduct his class well. Wastes first quarter of class explaining HW problems to one person at a time. Then with what time is left he takes almost all to talk about the beginning easy stuff, then blows through what is hard and never actually finishes a lesson, the rest is on us to figure out. Homework is long and unnecessary

He writes down almost every word he says in his lectures which can be annoying and make you lose focus. But he teaches the information and walks through every step of each problem. He assigns a lot of problems until someone complains and has AT LEAST 2 assingments due a week. The tests arent impossible. Overall he is an ok/good prof.

Dr. Agre is a very helpful teacher. he made me like the subject. he explains well in class and if you go to his office he will definetly help you out. the tests are not that hard, he gives a review sheet before the exam and if you can do those problem you are guaranteed atleast a B. the reviews are pointon a lil harsh grade. Definetly recommend him

Make sure you do your homework. Unless you are headed for a Math major, you need to do as many problems as possible in order to MASTER each individual type of problem he may throw at you. He definitely will test you on things he doesn't talk about. But that being said, if you're on the line for dropping out half-way, stick with it. You can do it!!

We also had to do math xl. He tries to teach well and he tried to answer your questions thoroughly. He gives ten points quizes every class day and his tests are hard!!! He will put questions on the test that are more though questions and they are hard! Note: His final is also hard. He does let you make test corrections for 1/4 the points.

I took this as a summer class, very fast paced, he was late a lot, and he sometimes cancels class, and yo don't find that out until after you drove there for o reason. He gives a lot of homework, but the homework is not hand in homework. (Expect to spend several hours on the bookwork!) Otheriwse we had one hand in assignement worth 20 points

This was the most difficult class I have ever taken. I had strait A's in all my classes but failed this one. Agre is nice and helpful if you ask. Great guy, terrible class! So much homework!!! Don't take it unless your adept at mathematics.
