Dr. Nelson is a dude who is so passionate about his field and really wants his students to generate ideas outside the box. His excitement is contagious and this is a class that I enjoyed showing up to three times a week. Get to know him on a personal level, he's the man.

Dr. Nelson's lectures can be boring at times, but the class is definitely easy. No homework/tests but There is a short quiz every day after lecture, so make sure to go to class on a regular basis. He does give extra credit if you miss some days to make up for missed points.

Keith is a great lecturer and the topics are always so interesting. You MUST go to class though because the ONLY grades in the whole course are 3-5 question scan trons at the end of every lecture. No exams, no homework, just short quizzes every day. The quizzes are super easy too. I took 2 psych courses with him because it was so easy.

Awesome Professor! He really enjoys the material he teaches and loves to tell stories about his own experiences. There are 4-6 point quizzes at the end of each class but they are super easy if you pay attention. If your stuck on a question he usually helps you out too. He also offers extra credit assignments if you miss a few classes.

Easiest teacher I have ever had. His lectures are boring but he tries. He reminds me of the funny grandpap. 3-5q Quiz every class so attendance is a must (gives quiz answers during lecture) . You don't need the books. Extra credit papers that are easy. No other tests and no other homework.. Also no final.

The easiest class you will ever take. Attendance is kind of mandatory because you have a quiz everyday, which is usually 5 points and completely common sense, but you can make up the points very easily and he cancels class for holidays and THON etc. Very easy interesting course and Keith Nelson is very chill.

Not kidding, the easiest class i have taken at Penn State so far. Just a quiz in class every day, but everyone collaborates on them so they're easy. He also cancels class all the time for holidays/THON. If you need psych and you want an A, take this class! If you're interested in subject matter though, you won't learn anything.

SOOOOO EASY! No tests or projects, just daily quizzes that everyone collaborates on anyway. Honestly, take this course, and get the easiest A you will get at Penn State. Also DO NOT get the text book, you don't need it even though he says that you do

By far the easiest professor I've taken in Penn State! NO EXAMS, NO HOMEWORKS, just daily quizzes after lecture about what he went over. 3 to 6 easy questions like "what was the boys name with the..." I definitely recommend taking this class. It's an easy A plus he gives you extra credit too. Also he has a curve in his class like 88 and up is an A!

Class is honestly a joke. He says you need the book, you don't at all. You have to go to class every day and there are daily quizzes but just kinda pay attention and you can get 100%. I suggest taking with a friend and bringing something to do as class gets boring when he drones on.

Boring, no exams just daily quizzes. Very nice teacher... but if you miss a class... you have to do extra credit to make it up... even for religious holidays. Don't get the book, they say you need it but the quizzes cover what you do in the lecture the day of the quiz.

This class is awful. I intended on learning something about cognitive development. I didn't want to sit there all lecture and listen to completely irrelevant material. Daily quizzes of 2-5 questions are a joke and don't even relate to cognition. Don't take this class if you want to learn.

Really easy class and while attendance is not mandatory, there is the occasional in-class assignment that you complete for your final grade. Best prof to take for 490. He's very passionate about what he teaches and he's so nice. Just think of it more as a philosophy class than a psych class.

he's a very nice, kind person, but he should be a kindergarden teacher instead of a college prof. i practically didn't learn anything in this class. he spent a lot of time on random, pointless discussion that has nothing to do with the material. writing assignments were short, but mostly silly and pointless. it's an easy A though.

Daily "quizzes" of 5 -7 questions each... pretty much make attendance mandatory. He is probably the smartest and most respected (Ivy League educated) Prof on campus. No exams or papers, but if you miss one of his quizzes you can make it up with ex credit. He also cancels class for snow, or because it is near THON or a break.

Had him for psych 212 and now 413. The people who make negative comments are idiots. It's true his class is easy, and you can get an A without the book. However, he is the nicest guy in the world, he does students favors, is always there to help, and enjoys what he is doing. If u listen he gets across good info while helping you to boost your GPA.
