Anyone describing her as a good professor is wrong. My 4.0 average is ruined. You will learn more about Frederick Douglass than how to write. Your A+ paper will be seen as B- paper. She will always find errors in your perfect paper (even when it's error free). Don't expect to get an A in her class because only 1-2 people will get it.

She is a nice woman one-on-one, yet she can be a little harsh on some students. Her grading is all over the place and she disregards everyone's opinions. I feel that a professor should value their students' opinions, rather than shoot them down. She caused many students to drop out because she did not clearly explain the material in her lectures.

I took her for General Literature and she wasted our time talking about African American History. Not only was it random, I feel like she alienated almost half of the class who didn't agree with her or wasn't black. She would shoot down anyone who expressed their opinions. She comes across as incredibly smug and self righteous. Dislike...

The class was very easy, I received 3.6 or above on every test and essay and still came out the class with a B.... I think that she gives no value to anyone else's comments and if she does not like an opinion then it is wrong...I avoided many classes that sounded really good because she was the professor.

Oh GOD, she's so damn opnionated. She gave me a B on every damn paper. She's a staunch republican, so if you're super liberal, prepare to put heads. Alot of the students here are right, she spends too much time talking about other things and although I passed her course, she never explained herself well...But just take it, you'll be glad you did
