Really good professor and class is engaging. Be ready to read the book cause she will use it. My only compliant is she takes a long time to grade and give back to students. Still waiting to see my final grade for the class while all of my other professors have turned in for my other classes.

Professor Hay talks about real life topics that spiral into good in class discussions. Her exams are what youd expect in a college course. She was very funny and extremely helpful when you needed her. I would highly recommend taking her course.

Kellie's COM 3300 class was amazing! Not only is she funny and taught the class well but she helps you relate to some of the topics gone over in class, making it easier to prepare, and do well on the 3 exams and the six-page paper she'll assign you. Definitely, enroll in her class if you can!

She's an awesome professor. She is very smart and easy to relate to. I give her 2 thumbs up. She does anything she can do to go above and beyond to help you, if needed. You just have to express to her that you want the help and shes there. I would SO take her class again.

Professor Hay is very interesting & smart. Her self proclaimed feminism is very eveident throughout the course. It will challenge your everyday thought, I commend her for that, but I disagreed with some of the things she was teaching our class (25girls and 5 guys). Very nice and fair grading. Very cool person. Readings are very explicit at times

Loved prof Kellie Hay! She was very knowledgeable about the material, and knew how to connect it to real life situations that made it so much easier to understand. She is funny, relatable, and makes students feel comfortable enough to talk to her or speak up in class. Easy A if you show up, participate and are able to understand her applications!

Kellie Hay is amazing! BEST PROF AT OU! I had her for Multicultural Com and Race & Com. She may come off as scattered brain with papers as she assigns them with no specific rubric or agenda but nonetheless she is extremely helpful. Go to her office hours as she will make you understand the material. If you work for an A and do well you will get it.

She's not bad but if you have social anxiety she'll freak you out. When she answers student questions you sometimes feel dumb and she'll randomly pick on people sometimes to voice their thoughts. Oh and a giant group project at the end of the semester. She's a passionate teacher and a good person but a little scary sometimes.

Makes you read a lot especially in the beginning of the semester. She knows the material but is scatterbrained and doesn't accomplish much. She also has strong beliefs about subjects which she'll dish out through everything she teaches. She is crazy, grades easy, and is a total carp. If you're okay with an A, yet dealing with attitude, she's great.

Dr. Hay is passionate about the subjects she teaches. I had no problem understanding the concepts she discusses. She does, however, seem to have an issue regarding organization. She cancelled a presentation an hour before it was due last semester and would not respond to e-mails for a week leading up to that class period. Unprofessional.

Kellie Hay is a good teacher but unorganized. Our syllabus was changed a bunch of times throughout the semester so it was difficult to stay on track. Tests are 5-6 question essay tests. Final paper is 15 pages but 3 drafts, but theres only so much you can say about an artist. Took FOREVER to get some tests back but very passionate about material

Dr. Hay is one of the best Professors in the Comm Dept at OU. I would recommend her to everyone for Intro to Comm, COM 150. Very specific about what she wants from you and how you're supposed to do it. Allows you to write papers from your own angle and support your evidence.

Took this as a Summer class. If you don't understand an assignment, ask right away so you can gain clarity. I gave her one assignment early to make sure I was on track: she gave me a few pointers to get an A. She was a kind. Mostly she lectured with a few activities. As with most Summer classes, it was fast paced so tests could be difficult.

Kellie is an extremely educated and well articulated woman. She exposes ways of thinking that most people take for granted. If you take 385 be prepared to read a lot. 2 heady, professional journal articles a week at an average of 13 pages per article can be daunting. Be sure you have a ton of printer paper and ink.

She's cool, but very unorganized. She would stray off topic and rant about topics that were not important or relevant to the exams. She offered to meet up which was helpful, but it took forever for her to respond to emails and could be very condescending in responding when there was no need. Her exam reviews were super vague too.
