*Tons* of extra credit and you're graded on four of six tests--easy A if you read the book and go to class. Her responses to questions are informed and honest, and multiple times she approached me before class with the answer to a previous question she didn't know the answer to. She cares about students if they care about the class.

Not the worst class I've ever taken, however I wouldn't recommend it, her lectures aren't required and I would recommend not going, they are boring and she does nothing but read word for word off the slides that she posts online. She assigns no work outside of class, graded purely off tests, definitely do all extra credit she gives out.

25 multiple choice test, gives an essay option. you can take both but there is typically no time to. entire grade is based on tests- never nitpicky details from the text AND Lecture. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! IT WILL SAVE YOUR GRADE!

She's a great professor and helps a lot. There are quizzes every week. I recommend not skipping class because she explains everything much better than the book.

I took her Personality class and basically had to teach myself everything, so I stopped going to class and did the notes on my own. The tests are really the only thing she grades, but if you do all the extra credit correctly you can boost your grade from a C to and A easily.

Pretty cool teacher and class. I tolerate stats but Dr. Brennan helps alot. She would walk all over the lecture hall to help you out one on one. She also has student tutors and office hours outside of class. Quizzes every week. It helps to read the chapters before coming to class so that you can just learn how to do the work.

1. Tests are hard. They're 25 multiple choice questions and out of 100 points, so fairly high-stakes. She drops the lowest one. 2. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. She hands out personality tests for each unit that you can take and score yourself to turn in at the end of the semester. 10 tests +10 points on FINAL GRADE. I went from an 84 to a 94.

This is a go through the motions type of class for both the professor and the student. She reads off the slides and pretty much sends you on your way. The slides are available on blackboard so you could get away with skipping class. She doesnt take attendance. She gives 5 tests and drops your lowest score. She offers a lot of extra credit also.

A lot of people say some really negative things about Kelly, I didn't think she was that awful she's just not a great professor. If you want to do well on the test, I recommend using her slides and the textbook to teach yourself instead of going to class because her lectures are pointless and hard to follow. Not an awful class but not the greatest

I was .33 points off from a B+ and she refused to round it up. I even asked if I could do something to to get another point, she gave me no options.

LOVE HER. This was my 2nd time taking this class and she made it so easy. She didn't get confusing like the textbook and she really wants you to understand. Her quizzes are easy and her test are straight forward. If you need help, I strongly encourage to go to her and to tutoring. It helps a lot and she wants you to pass.

Dr. Brennan-Jones was the instructor in this course. The course was about topics. Exams were on the same topics. She is sufficiently adequate at presenting on those topics.

lectures are dry but not a hard class. if you are not a good test taker this probably isn't the class for you. 100+ slide notes for a 25 question test. also notes are very vague and test questions are very specific and hard. Offers plenty of extra credit. enough to improve at least 2 letter grades.

KBJ has been a nightmare. ive taken 2 classes with her but she has no regard for peoples feelings. I only took her capstone because i knew i could pass it but she drove everyone crazy. she has no soul, the work isnt awful but she does grade hard for the capstone. if you care if a teacher cares, then dont take her. KBJ does not care about you at all

Long dry lectures that hold no content. She gives practice packets so study those hard for the weekly quizzes. Homework is done online but uses much different terminology than she uses in class. You need to read to pass the homework. Grades are almost never posted.

She is an alright professor but her lecture powerpoints are useless. You can't learn math in words but by example. Class attendance is optional so thats good and she gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Only 5, 25 question tests. if you don't do well on those you won't do well in the class. she gives you such large amounts of extra credit to make up for it, which you'll have to do. Powerpoint notes don't help

I asked her a question & she made me feel like i was stupid for asking it. she was taken back that I'd even ask something so crazy. It's hard to follow her. I've had 3 classes with her so far & want to switch out.

Worst Psych professor I have ever had. Lectures were completely irrelevant to tests, extremely unfair grading on final paper and exam. Spent six weeks of class watching movies and talking about AIDS conspiracy. Went from an A to a B in the last week of school because of her unclear instructions. Avoid her at all costs.

Dr. B is a very smart person, but has trouble conveying her ideas to students. Power points are over 200 slides with only a 25 question multiple choice test. Hard to study but she does give review sheets and is willing to help if you ask for it. The extra credit is very easy and if all is done, it would be hard not to get a decent grade.
