Dr. Kelly is incredible! She is so over the top and absolutely hilarious! I had her for an 8 am class and by the time I left, I was wide awake! Her class made me EXCITED to get up early in the morning twice a week. That being said, you do have to work hard and do the reading for her class.

Not super great. I was pretty amped to take a few classes with Dr Douglas but am left feeling incredibly disappointed. Her teaching style is engaging, but her expectations are super high and she gives ZERO helpful information. Doesn't give any more info about assignments than the syllabus. She's impossible to connect with to ask questions.

This class was one of the toughest things I have ever experienced, however SO worth it. Mrs. Douglas is a great person, however she is very fast-paced and intimidating in class. I have never been pushed so much intellectually/philosophically. Prepare for lots of long and tough readings, but don't even think about skipping class, for your own sake.

Amazing individual, amazing teacher. She may seem a little intimidating in class but I swear she is the nicest person ever. She is understanding and is a great listener. She really gets you to dig deeper. I love her, love her, love her. No one should graduate from Goucher without taking one of her class.

Kelly is a gifted teacher who gives you nothing, but helps you discover everything. Read every book and openly struggle with the material and you'll be fine. And you'll learn a lot about yourself to boot.

This is one of the many classes i've taken with Kelly. I've enjoyed every one. She expects you to do all the reading which is well worth it. i highly recommend taking one of Kelly's classes, and she is famous at Goucher and in the wider world.

Doctor Douglas is a passionate and eloquent woman, but is very demanding professor for a 100 level class that is taken by the majority for a gen ed. Be prepared for alot of reading and writing, along with tough grading. She expects the effort and comprehension of at least a 200 level class. Douglass also seems biased against those not religious

Kelly B-D is not only my advisor, but one of the most engaging lecturers I have had. She is, by training, a minister, and you can certainly tell it! Kelly teaches like she preaches, and it is exciting to be around!
