Great professor-lectures are clear. She gives online quizzes to make sure you do the reading and then a midterm and final which is MC and a take-home part. Would recommend to take for audit

Comment:

She has a lot of experiences and definitely knows what shes talking about. However, her lectures are confusing and she likes to jump back and forth between slides. Her tests are extremely tough and shes also a tough grader. If you wanna learn and doesnt mind your GPA to drop, take her. If you wanna a higher GPA to graduate, DEFINITELY AVOID!!!

She is a kind, caring professor, very experienced in accounting, and knows her stuff. Told a lot of stories, and participation was not mandatory. The problem is that it was a lot of lecture, and it's hard to comprehend auditing and its process without doing it hands-on. All the teaching is conceptual, which can be boring. Had a big group project.

This lady is THE BEST professor at Fordham hands down. She is sweet, helpful, and clear. She will always answer your questions promptly and will explain the concepts you need help with. I cannot recommend her enough. Her lectures get a little boring, but its not her fault the material gets a little dry. Take this professor, you wont regret it

Professsor Ulto is by far the best professor I've had at Fordham. She actually cares about what her students say and takes it into consideration. The material is tough, but her tests aren't hard and she'll help you out as much as she can. She is a very nice lady and your grade should not be an issue in her class.

Great teacher! I loved her. She really wants you to learn. Teaches from her powerpoints but really explains everything. Always at her office hours. Easy to contact. Her tests may be a little hard but put in the effort and you'll be able to get an A.

Prof Ulto is a GREAT teacher! She knows soo much about accounting that she actually teaches the class instead of just reading slides like some other professors. Basically those that don't like her, just don't do the work....she doesn't play favorites and she gives u the grade u deserve....definitely well liked and respected, take her if u can!

Brilliant Accountant, too smart for teaching. She knows what she's doing, and assumes everyone else does too. She's open to questions, and will answer them, but the trick is knowing what to ask and asking it fast enough before she's moved on to the next topic.

Ulto gets a bad rap. Yes her class is boring and some of her tests r kind of tricky. But the class requires little work and she curves the grades nicely so you won't get a bad grade. It might be a little tough to get an A though. She is also very nice and respectful if you speak to her.

Worst professor I have ever had. I hate her to death cause she ruined my GPA. I did the work, but she did not care and those that say she's is easy; you guys are crazy. Ulto is great: second class with her. She does NOT teach the advanced course from slides, she actually explains it. Do your homework and you'll do fine, seriously. She is very willing to help out as well, always available in her office for assistance. Also an extremely nice professor. Honestly the people that don't like her don't do the work.

Not a very good teacher, taught each lesson under the assumption that everyone did the homework and read the chapter, even though nobody ever did-so that made it boring. Doesn't really take attendance with is a good thing cuase class doesn't matter anyway. Tests aren't that bad as long as u study. Quizzes each week =10% of grade.

possibly the worst prof at fordham. avoid her if you can, otherwise be ready for her to read off the projector info you can print off the internet. does not actually TEACH; even going over hw, only reads answers, doesnt EXPLAIN. shes nice, but that doesnt help me much in learning accounting.
