Ken's mind works on a high level of abstraction, perhaps not easily accessible to the average person but with true substance & teaching behind his comments. If it weren't for Ken, I would not have come to appreciate half of the finer points of poetry & my artistic life as a painter would not have been as rewarding. He was my one great mentor.

Best Creative Writing class I ever had. Ken was amusing, filled with interesting comments and sometimes comments that were so bizarre that you had to love them. Best way to work with him is to ask questions; don't wait for it to be spelled out for you.

I found this class to be very difficult due solely because this professor did not specify about any assignment nor did he help when needed. He had no clue what was going on throughout the class. We had to continue to remind him about everything.
