I had him for acct 1 and 2, which was about 5 years ago (yes, still going to school!) He is still in my life, gives me a hug every time I see him, and wrote my recommendation letter to Marywood (which made me cry). He truly gave me appreciation for accounting and college life. The best mentor I ever had!!!!

He tries to play tough,by holdin prejudices. He humiliates himself when he tries to crack jokes. He sticks to the rules, and takes everything so critically. I walked in late a few times, and he gave me only a half day attendance. I tried to explain, that I was handicapped, and i could'nt help it but he did't want to hear it. he should feel ashamed!

Mr. Barhight is a mere bag of shells (his favorite saying). He makes learning a lot more interesting than most teachers. Overall a great professor. He does demand timeliness, so don't be late. I had him for Financial Accounting 1 and 2 and wouldn't have it any other way.

I think Barhight is a great proffesor. You have to study because Accounting is not an easy course, however, he is fair, professional and you can tell he has a good heart. He doesn not have to be there teaching because obviously he is smart (has an MBA and great business skills), but he is teaching because he is DEDICATED. Best teacher EVER!

Barhight is the one of the best professor i have had a NCC. He truly expresses that he cares about each individual student and will work with you fully to help each student. I would def. take him again if i had too. The course itself is difficult at times but advice for that is to study alot and do not slack.TAKE BARHIGHT FOR ACCOUNTING!!!!!!!

Barhight is one of the best professors at NCC. He is always willing to give you help intill u understand the work. He is extremely fair. There is ALOT of work, but if you do the homework, you will get a B or A on the tests. No tricks. He makes class fun. He might "get on ur case" to get you going so u study harder. If your lazy, dont take ACCT.
