I love Professor Kaleta! He is absolutely hilarious. Knows a lot about his subject. I took him for Film History and it was a very easy class. Only a midterm, final, and a blog. Sometimes the movies we watch can be boring, but his humor always livens the class up. I'm taking him again next semester too. Definitely would recommend his classes!

Movie industry was pretty annoying. we just watched movies that i could watch at home. I never really understood what he as trying to teach. Very noncommittal with due dates.

I am not a RTF major, so I struggled in this class. First test I studied for a lot and failed, second test I got a 94 on. 2 other assignments are essays, not bad. His lectures are hilarious, movies for film 1 were pretty boring in the beginning. I took it hoping for an easy A and will probably get a B. He is very helpful if you are struggling.

Interesting guy, nice but interesting. His tests are almost entirely based on the movies shown in class. The book was barely used. Even the take home final was easy enough. I'd recommend this class with Kaleta.

had him for movie industry. All you do is watch movies and the quizzes were based on the content. The final was 3 take home esssays. They were subjective analysis from the films in class to society today. It's really unclear what he wants you to know, there was very little information about the actual industry. I managed a B after a big curve.

What a very strange, but yet interesting man. Considering this is suppose to be a pseudo-sequel to TV IND you don't expect to watch nothing but movies and very little business. But his class was loads of fun, although do read the book because I didn't think it would be useful until very late before the final. Highly recommend it.

Very nice professor, extremely knowledgeable. Does not pass the knowledge onto students. Movie Industry is a bit of a snooze: watch films and take extremely hard test. He mumbles a lot and goes off on odd rants that do not relate to the course. Try not to pay any mind to it and focus on the movies. I really like HIM, but not the class.

Kenneth Kaleta made my college experience worth the amount of money I owe in loans. This guy is an artist, a genius, and a foul-brained barrel of laughs. Work hard and pay the man some respect, and you'll learn more than you could ever have bargained for.

Had him for Film History 1 and as an advisor. He's hilarious! Always willing to help you out. Tests are hard but if you try he adds a curve. Best to reach him through email. Incredible guy! He helped me with classes and getting my internship. Favorite professor at Rowan!

It's true that the tests are pretty hard. Fill in the blanks with no word banks and isn't clear on what's gonna be on the tests although he tells you which chapters to look over. If you come to class, participate and do decent on the paper (which isn't that hard itself) you'll be able to get at least a B. He's also extremely funny by the way.

I thought he was okay, until the first test. I studied and I usually do well on tests, but he asked the most obsure things and tried to trick you basically. His fill in the blanks don't even make sense. I don't even know what to study!

Film majors love him b/c they already know a lot going in, but for a GenEd Movie Ind. he's not a good instructor--funny, yes, but he barely INSTRUCTED. He'd talk for 10 min b4 a movie. & even if you knew random things he put on tests from the book who'd think out of 50 T/F there'd only be 2 true?!?
