Comment:

The class outline is easy enough to follow, but the course material is a little challenging. He makes you buy his textbook that he wrote, and the quizzes are based off of that textbook. Because he wrote the book, his quizzes sound highly pompous and that got on my nerves from week to week. His textbook is a giant ramble.

Took this online class for psych 41. Hard class with a lot of material to learn and cover, but Dr. K was a very good professor. Clear syllabus with deadlines. Encourages students to do their best. Open to questions and helpful. Overall, great class as you will learn a great deal of information. Would take this class again.

Took online intro to psych. Requires three books and one cd. Weekly discussion topics/exams. Two part midterm and final. This was by far my hardest class this semester and required the most work. I usually get A's in all of my classes, but received a C in this class. He is a very tough grader and I would not take his class again.

Proff. Ken also cares about his students and he gives you plenty of chances through the semester to COMPLETE everything from discussions, quizzes, and tests. That's great for those of us who tend to slack off b/c you have a chance to finish it all. He also lets you retake them to raise your score! Grades 2x the semester so you get what you put in!

I was a bit worried when I decided to take him for bio psych, however he's actually a great professor. I learned a lot and yes you do read PLENTY of material but it's also interesting. He is very intelligent, rarely used the books b/c he provides the majority of info on moodle. I would take him again and I wish he taught other psych classes!

This professors makes you get 2 books, one he authored himself. There is a ton of reading and tests that you MUST complete. If I could do over I would not take this professor. The grading was unclear and confusing at times. AVOID this class at all cost.

I love this class, but with this teacher you definitely have to work for it. He treats you like an adult and expects you to do your work if you want to succeed. There is the regular biopsych book along with a book he wrote himself that has EXTREMELY LONG chapters and you have to take a quiz on it every week.

I would advise not to take his class unless you have A LOT of spare time on your hands. One is an actual Bio-Psych textbook while the other is one he wrote himself. He expects you to have the book the first week so make sure you have it so you won't fall behind. Lectures are confusing and way too long. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS!

Took his online intro to psychology class and he is awesome! There's a lot of work but he only grades twice during the whole semester. All of the homework is easy as long as you read and do exactly what he says. You can retake tests and quizzes as many times as you want. I recommend his class! The Jane Goodall test is easy just read it.

One of the easiest online classes I've ever taken. He does make you rentbuy the book he wrote himself though which ticked me off a little - he always talks about how he's writing it in Hawaii. Other than that, there are a lot of discussion forums each week that are pretty easy. He only grades twice - middle & end of the semester. Time consuming.

This class is beyond difficult and completely skewed to a book he wrote himself. That's right he teaches from a book he wrote. Nearly impossible mid terms, long hours of pointless online lectures illustrating points more complicated then the last! Steer clear or you may actually hate college and Psychology.

Though I got an A in this class, I didn't enjoy it. I took it online, and he tries to Psych you out with an 18 page syllabus. It is a lot of reading, too much! but it's not as hard as he made it seem. He gave bout 4 forum posts per week, plus a quiz, a two part mid term and final, and a final on another book too. It was a lot of work to get an a.

Very boring teacher, his lectures are long and seem to last forever. If you cant stand being bored to death, his work is easy, he lets you take tests mulitple times for a better score.

Comment:

I took this class online summer of 2008 and it was super easy. You take a weekly quiz and you can take it over and over until you get an A. You have to read on book and it's interesting and take a 10 question quiz. The final can be taken multiple times and it's open book(online course). I highly recommend this class!
