Dr. Miller is kind, the problem is he teaches a pretty intense subject and he is not always approachable for help due to him being the state treasurer and not being around often.

Finally a prof with real world experience. I don't think he is too difficult, he just treats students like adults while everybody else at OC treats us like children. LOL on the returning email comment, pretty sure the syllabus says he won't respond to emails about stuff covered in the syllabus. Don't take Miller if you want spoon feed.

Mr. Miller was not a good professor he cancelled class often many times on short notice. I did not learn anything in his class. He spent much of his time talking about his political career rather than the material for the class. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Definitely shows favoritism. Never returns emails. Refuses help outside of class. Cares way too much about his position as treasurer and cares very little about his students. Talks way too much about himself. Worst teacher I have ever had!!! If at all possible avoid any classes with him! his classes will make your life miserable!

He talked way to much about himself. More of a politician then a teacher. Don't take him!! His notes are pointless and all the work that we do on Aplia didn't even show up on the test. He doesn't even bother learning your name.

His class was good! It was definitely interesting and not bad to pay attention too the lectures. However it was hard to do the hw and test at times because I don't feel like I actually learned anything. And the lectures weren't very helpful learning wise.

Short class but interesting. He does not cover all the topics (only cover like 50% of the topics) so, must read the book back and forth for the hw. Second test was kind of hard and hw take forever to finish. And don't start any political issue in class that will take whole class period!

Great teacher! His class was fun and interesting if you care about economics at all. He is very into himself and his position in the OK House of Reps. Aside from all that he has valuable real world insight into how the economy really works. His test are pretty difficult, but usually gives a generous curve. Gives a good bit of homework every week!

Too much work??!! You have to earn an MBA. Don't expect good teachers to make things easy for you. Anyone taking Ken's class is very lucky. Don't you think the chairman of appropriations would have better things to do than teach average students at a mediocre university?

i had his class during his (successful) run for state house. he missed a lot of class. he wanders off into stories unrelated to the material a lot, and that in combination with the orgasmically comfortable chairs in the HBC make it easy to fall asleep. but ken himself is a cool guy, easy to talk to, knows his stuff. take his classes if you can.
