Dr Prevot was super kind and helpful. All questions are good questions! Never made me feel dumb or intimidated to express confusion or ask for clarification. Pacing is a little slow (compared to Dr Davis or Dr Sundbye), but that may be good for some people in an upper-division math course.

Prevot is an extraordinary professor. He has a great understanding for the material he teaches and prioritizes understanding of the material. His personality is so laid back and he is a modest man too. He went to MIT and never brings it up, doesn't even require you to call him Dr., his test can be challenging, but they're not too bad.

Great personality and laid back classroom atmosphere. This guy is brilliant and he enjoys downplaying his vast knowledge. He does not strictly follow the textbook, yet provides a lot of great information. He knows how to teach and students are guaranteed to learn a lot. He does grade for class participation, so show up to lectures and be involved.

I have now had Ken for 3 different math classes (Calc 1, Calc 3, and mathematical proofs) and i love him. He is kind of short in class, but if you go to class, take notes, and show up for the exams there is no way you will fail. I recommend him for any level of math. also his math humor is awesome

One of the nicest math instructors I've taken. The key to passing his class is to work from the textbook. He's very helpful and encourages students to ask and answer questions during lectures (and even gives you extra credit for doing so) and is VERY kind and considerate.

Dr. Prevot breaks calculus down into easy algebra. He really makes it easy to understand and he gives really fair homework to prepare you really well for the exams. His exams aren't bad, either. Awesome professor...I would definitely take his class again and I recommend him to everyone!

I am so happy I took his class! Dr. Prevot truly cares for his students and whether or not they are learning the material. He teaches at a comfortable place and doesn't leave anyone in the dust. The workload was appropriate and effective in reinforcing what we needed to learn. Oh how I wish he was teaching Calculus 3 this semester!!!

Class mainly consists of three tests (15% each) and final exam (25%). One easy mathematica assignment, participation, and three hws . Content is very difficult but that is mostly due to the class content in general. Professor is clear and always available to help in office hours. Generous- waived one homework and gave five extra points on an exam.

Good teacher, takes attendance by sign up sheet that's passed around class, his class is laid back and easy but still need to put in some effort, has 3 tests lets you bring a one page cheat sheet to each and all three to the final, 3 hw 's due day of test but only 5 problems one from each section that he gives you week before test. good class

This guy is awesome. He's very thorough and clear with his lectures. He only collects homework a few times per semester and it's not much. His tests are pretty tough but fair, he doesn't throw crazy stuff at you that you wouldn't have seen if you keep up with the recommended practice homework and attend class.

I have always struggled with Algebra but Dr Prevot explains everything in great detail and gives students many opportunities to ask questions--if you are great at Algebra this may be slow for you, but consider it an easy class then. He is always available for help and does great and in depth exam reviews. Nice guy and gives multiple examples.

He is a very kind and encouraging teacher who does his best to make sure everyone understands what is going on. He can go off subject now and again, but for the most part is on topic. His reviews were on par with the tests.

Good Business Calc teacher. Went at a slow, even pace. Explained things thoroughly and made sure class understood before moving on. Ask questions if you don't understand he will slow down and answer. Must do the homework and do lots of practice problems and tests will be easy.

He is a great professor!!! Explained everything clearly and never mind explaining something over when someone didn't understand. Never assumed we already knew something. This class is hard in itself but he made everything easy to understand. Very nice person and his grading isn't bad!!!

This class is really slow. Not necessarily Kens fault just the course it is. Class is very easy. All exams are open calculator and a page of notes. Final is full page front and back of notes. Good at explaining most things. Homework is easy to wip out in 15 min in peer study. Always telling the class to come see him for help if we need it good prof

Great teacher, listens to his students and is really fair. One page of notes on tests. Good amount of homework. Definitely enjoyed his class even though I hated the material. Worth taking, even if math isn't your strongest suit.
