My favorite human. He is who I want to be. He made me want to be a painter. Very supportive. SO CUTE. I didn't always know what he was trying to say, which was fine. He found things he liked in everyone's work. Best class I've had so far.

Ken is one of my favorite human beings. He is extremely helpful and just the absolute sweetest. He would tell adorable jokes all the time and would help your work without even being rude. When signing up for classes, whenever I had the opportunity to take him I would revolve all other classes around the his class. TAKE HIM

Ken is a really great professor. I have taken him numerous times and with each class I adore him more and more. Ken is so helpful and is truly interested in learning about each student and their strengths as artists. Definitely not an easy A, but if you put a lot of work into the class, Ken will notice and grade appropriately.

I took the Szmagster for beginers painting. We all love him. He can be a little inconsistant. One time I asked him if I fulfilled the requirements for the assignment and he said yes, but the very next day he said no -I was puzzled and frustrated. I would suggest to take him over the other profs. You have to work hard -not an easy A, or even B

I am alumni and Ken changed my life. I graduated 8 years ago and there is rarely a day that goes by where I do not use something that he taught me about life and art. I am forever in debt to him and hope that he knows just how much he has impacted many of his students who are sucessful artists today.

can i just say i looove this man! he is so cute and funny and that alone should make you want to take his class. in addition, he is a great professor. he gives an assignment (puts on crazy music) and helps you as the class goes on, but it's all chill! take this class if any part of you loves art.
