Ken was nice and very helpful all semester except at the end. I think he took on too much this semester and the class mark reflects that. We fell REALLY behind and a great portion of the class was distraught and not ready for the final. He made it so hard that most people could not even figure out his "bonus question" or complete the exam.

Great Prof, however very tough when marking tests and assignments, if you go in for help it isn't that bad though. Tough class, but the one good thing about the class was the Prof.

Ken is an AMAZING professor, and the best I've ever had (in my third year). He's crazy passionate about his material and it makes it enjoyable to go to class. If I didn't hate physics so much I would take every class he offered. Awesome professor, extremely helpful and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He is the nicest prof ever, really wants you to succeed. This class is a lot of work, 2 assignments due every week and lab reports on top of that, I found myself spending 6+ hours per week just on assignments, hand in assignments were marked very hard. Exams were very difficult but marked fairly. Prof is good, class is so much work though.

Dr. Vos is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He loves physics, and is great at teaching it, if you pay attention and work through the problems. If you see him during office hours, he won't give you answers to the problems, but will make you work them out for yourself on the board. I was nervous about taking physics; he made it enjoyable.

great guy!! very helpful!! loves physics!! emails by the hour about whats happening in the world of physics!! (day and night).. test were decently hard however he did his best to prepare you as well as he could.. GO TO CLASS GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS DO ASSIGNMENTS READ BOOK = BOOM !!! (decent grade) .. one of the best profs at the UofL!!!!

Avoid at all costs, he is the toughest prof in the department. I heard a story from a friend in his 1000 class that he brought timbits and kleenex to their final. Timbits because they're delicions, kleenex in case the test made them cry. If you're up for a serious challenge, go for it, otherwise try to take the course with somebody else.

He was an excellent prof and a very nice and funny guy. Made physics as interesting as the material allows and i would take him again in a heartbeat! highly reccomend going to his office hours though as his assignments are quite tough and you will probably need help. exams are extremely fair (you are allowed a cheap sheet)

Ken is an amazing prof. If I still attended the school I would totally take another of his classes. If you need help just go to his office and he will make you work through a similar problem so that hes not directly giving you the answer. He is an amazing prof.

While a very enthusiastic and intelligent prof, Ken does not run an easy class. Partial marks are nonexistent, the work load is unreasonable, and he seems to have difficulty clearly explaining concepts. Very helpful outside of class time, but don't take his classes unless you are prepared to work very hard!

Great in terms of availability and helpfulness, sends too many emails though. I really wish he would make powerpoint notes or something, as learning from an overhead is difficult. He does a decent job of making the topics intriguing, but could definitely do more. Overall I would take his class again if I needed another physics.

The class doesn't come natually to most who are takeing it but he goes WAY above and beyond anyother prof to help you get good marks. He has insane amounts of office hours and holds study sessions himself before exams. His main goal is getting you the mark you deserve. If you fail it's 100% your own fualt.
