Worst Prof I've had in my college career. Questions are worded extremely confusing and there was only 3 assignments the whole time. The class ruined my gpa. He doesnt believe in extra credit but he does believe in thinking he is better then everyone else. Multiple people asked for his help and he told us to just try harder... never again..

I took Dr. Lender's on-line New Jersey History class. He explains everything very clearly in the syllabus and is fairly simple. Make sure you answer all the questions completely because he is not the easiest grader. However, he is always willing to help. The entire class consists of just 5 essays. You'll work for an A, but you can get it.

i took this with him online. it required work but was not that hard overall. 3 essays and a midterm and final, but most of the info is given in the books. def have to do some reading when writing the essays, but he is not that hard of a grader if u show u used the books and notes to answer question. better than sitting in a classroom, got an A

Took NJ History on-line and wrote an essay every 2 weeks PLUS mid-term and finals!!! Do the readings (heavy) and he cuts no slack on missed deadlines. Still one of my best profs.

On-line course was hard--maybe too much reading. But he grades fairly; I got a "B" but you have to do the work. First units were hard, but then you can get the hang of it. Does have in-person office hours if you want, and he is helpful. Just do the work and you'll be OK.

chariman of the department, but fairly easy, easy grader, he knows his stuff, funny and very helpful, just give him a chance and you will not be dissapointed, Mark looks at every student as a individual and grades them on that, we read 2 book, 1 group project, 1 short essay and final, allows you to leave early, defenitly a keeper in history dept

i dont know if he only does online classes but the one i took was online. And it is by far one of the easiest. you just have to write a couple essays and he gives you 4 or 5 days to do the tests online.

I took this class as an external class during the summer. Big mistake. Had us read a textbook and 4 seperate books that didnt even end up on any of the exams. He gives 2 exams: 3 essays and 10-20 short answers. All that work during one month was too much. Maybe hes better when he lectures.
