He is so useless and not helpful for students. I took his class just for credits and felt he was torturing students by his extremely boring class!!!! And I was shocked that half of students got D in the class, and he said these students desert it !!! he is lame, bored, unhelpful Prof in SMU.

Not necessary to attend class. Read your book and watch online lectures through Youtube and you will get much more benefit than going to his painfully boring class. Knows the material but dreadful at communicating it in an interesting way to his students. Very monotone. Makes me feel like I'm about to slip into a coma every time I go to class.

Absolute bore. He stumbles upon his words too often. He says he is passionate about the subject but does not show it through his teaching. If you took Memory then his second mid term is a breeze. You're better off reading your text and the ppts than to go to class as it is just a waste good study time.

The worst. Very boring man. Tests on material not discussed in class.Marks unfairly. He's unoragnized, and does not clarify what he expects. Cannot get a yes or no answer. He also still uses the exact same notes that he uploaded to the site 5 years ago.

Ok, so one of the most boring teachers I've ever experienced and I only went to approximately 5 classes all semester. As long as you can study on your own and read the notes (which he posts) than you should have no excuse for not getting at least a C. I've gotten a B+ with approximately 6hrs of effort all semester, 12 hrs if you count the one essay

Give me a root canal over that poorly written text book. Absolutely brutal! Dr. Hill is kind of monotone so bring a fresh cup of java to class and you'll be fine. Tests are challenging so be prepared to study, children.

Seems like a nice guy. 3 exams and 1 term paper. class is hard to sit through although you don't need to attend every class just read the posted notes and text. Class isn't overly difficult

Material is interesting if you like learning about the brain. Paper and tests are difficult but fair; study what he says and you'll do fine. However, he is not very helpful. This was a web course for me and he answered many legitimate questions with "read the syllabus".

Almost impossible to sit through because it's so boring, and the text is just as bad. It's hard to study cause it all seems so unimportant. He marks really hard, probably to make up for the pointlessness of the class. Don't take him or his class because there are a lot of interesting psyc classes and easier marking profs

His class is very hard to sit through. Found it very difficult the way he talked and taught and made u lose focus. The tests cover alot of material and a really good grasp is required to do well. Slides are all on p drive.

Pretty good professor... although a little goofy. Makes little jokes that are clean and cute and seems to know what he's talking about. The text is dreadful though. Not a terribly hard class as long as you study and actually go every day (or at least most days)

The teacher can be a little boring. He reads everything mostly right off his powerpoints. However it wasn't a very bad class. I learned a lot and it was interesting.
