I don't know if it is his monotonus lectures of his inability to express anything but gloom and bordom. This class is extremly boring. His tests are 1/2 way on subject. The program that comes with the text book dosen't run on some computers, if you have a question he beats around the bush about it and never directly answers the question.

If there were many other choices in the CS department, I would not recommend K. Johnson at all. I came in familiar with the C++ language, but could not follow along with the class material. Lectures are long-winded, and when asked a question, he gets irritated or goes off on an irrelevant tangent.

This guy must be a relic by now. I took courses from him back in 1970-1972. He knew his stuff back then, though!
