Very excellent, he provides you with the resources you need to do well in the class. He has the book free online with helpful programs built into it. Online homework is from a free site but can be confusing at times (I actually missed Pearson once :O) He's very good at explaining and very meticulous

Kenneth is a cool guy. He's just... Boring. Which is not that big of a deal considering he explains things really well. His tests are also relatively easy if you study for his quizzes (which he gives out every single class).

I can tell you right now, if you don't understand the class at the beginning or while reading the textbook written by this professor, then you are screwed. Quiz at the end of every class, so you have to show up to take them (Counts as Attendance as well). I would highly recommend that you avoid taking this teacher unless you have to for your major.

- Very tough grader, little to no partial credit - Uses his own discrete structures textbook, which is very bad to be blunt - Quizzes every class, says the quizzes are on the material from previous class, this is not always the case, hard to predict and study for the quizzes - Talks down on you when you ask questions in class - Avoid If possible!

Prof. Levasseur taught a tough class. I took him for Discrete I. He had a quiz at the end of each lecture which accounted for 25% of your course grade. That's right. 25% of your overall grade was largely a reflection of attendance and the quality of his lectures. And the quality of his lectures wasn't great. At least his exams were easy.

Horrible teacher. He teaches from a book he wrote and its really bad. He also is extremely bad at explaining topics.

Took Mathematical Problem Solving with Dr. Levasseur. Interesting class and not difficult to receive a good grade. Very good at explaining and clearly very interested in his student's success.

No textbook use, didn't know what he was talking about most of the time. Spent about 20 minutes per class struggling with Mathematica. Was pretty lenient with grades though. Try to avoid if calculus is relevant to your career choice.

92.500 - A fun class. Much lost time due to snow, but Ken went the extra mile to keep us on schedule. A variety of teaching styles were used, which was also instructive for those entering the field of education.

Very bad at explaining things and teaching in general. He almost never completes a proof. His notes are all over the place and some times he assigns HW that he himself doesn't know how to solve.

Boring class. Depressing instructor. Difficult topic made more difficult w/ demanding homework and constant quizzes (everyday). Take another professor because this instructors exams/hw/quizzes are too much especially if you have other classes to worry about (looking at you engineering/hardcore science majors).

I took an online class with him and adored it. The problems teaches you a lot. He does not teach in a traditional way. I hated math before his class now I love it.

I took complex variables with this professor I had to drop the class because I could not farce myself to sit through his lectures. He does not thoroughly explain anything and never answers the actual question you ask. He doesn't care if students do well. The first test average was a 55, Take this class with a different professor if you can.

I did not find this class overly difficult, but a lot of it was review from my AP Calc class. KL has an odd way of explaining things that can make it difficult to understand. However, I always found him willing to further explain things I found confusing. Also, the final is a compilation of his tests, just a heads up.

He not the best professor but he's not the worst. However, he is the head of Calc II and he makes the final. So this will give you an advantage. His test aren't hard, but there are tricks. He allows you to ask questions at the beginning of class. He is sometimes hard to follow but that might be the subject. Do the practice problems in the book.

You basically have to already be amazing at Calc to deal with his class. Teaches math saying 'there is an easier way to do this', but never shows you the easy way. If you raise your hand and ask a question, he just makes you feel dumb and downplays everything you say. Absolutely horrible.

I had two classes from him. For the online class I felt that he was excellent. He always answered questions quite thoroughly. However, my main complaint regarding the non on-line class was that the tests did not line up with the lectures. It was as if he has used a test from a previous semester where he had used a different textbook.
