The best prof. and course I've had at York. Attend lectures and be open minded. very interesting, relevant and pragmatic social theories to learn from this course.

This class is not easy, and will make your head spin. Little is a funny guy, but the concepts are elusive and difficult to "get right"... which is kinda the point of the class. You have to think outside the box and ALWAYS SHOW UP.

very easy to understand. one of the best professors I've had at York so far. He actually makes you think rather than simply regurgitate recycled information onto the page.

Ken is dedicated and responsive beyond the requirements. His commitment to teaching is reflected by the amount of the time he gives his students. He is extremely challenging and tries to question existing anthropological practices. His teaching exemplifies what graduate education should be like.

He's a great guy. If you don't understand something he really encourages you to come and see him so he can explain it further. Very interesting class with concepts that I have never thought about before. His readings are difficult at times but aren't too difficult to understand for a 3rd yr coarse.

While i agree that his material is difficult and you MUST attend class and do all readings to do well in class, he is really nice and extremely smart...he knows his stuff and has fun telling you about it

Okay you're all wrong :) Prof. Little is great. Attend lectures...do the readings and you'll soon come to realize how interesting the material is and how simply the prof solidifies major concepts. 10/10 for the course and 11/10 for the prof. He talks fast though so I'd suggest some kind of recorder.

he is extremely hard to understand. poor lecturer. his thoughts are all over the place and he tells stories that have nothing to do with anything. i would never take a class with him. harderst class i've ever taken, worst prof i've ever had.

I dare not skip the readings, because I don't really understand what he's saying in class; he's incohesive. Yet when I do the readings, I still dont QUITE understand. In exams I end up regurgitating lecture notes I don't really get. Have a feeling that I have heard the points he's trying to make already - but they were clearer the first time.

Unbelievable. Possibly one of the best and brightest profs in the department, he shows us that thinking isn't just in reading and memorizing but in analyzing and going beyond what we're presented with.
