He grades on a scaled system, making the class average a B-. It could either help you or hurt you depending on how well your class works, and in my case it hurt me. He's a good and interesting guy, but don't take if you care about your GPA and typically get grades above B-

Took Chemistry for Non-Scientists with him. Text book is useless; didnt buy it. I only bought the HW software. The tests are pretty difficult, but he curves the grades so as long as you put in some effort, you'll get a solid B or B+. He is a pretty nice guy who is laid back.

Easy professor, he follows his syllabus dead on, it isn't required to attend class, he assigned an okay amount of homework assignments, the heaviest assignments were two exams and a class delegation. The textbook is required for this course. Chemistry made simple. I recommend this class!

Class is SO confusing. It's supposed to be Chemistry for the NON-SCIENTIST yet I prob would have been better off taking regular chemistry. His entire class is based off of a point system out of 200 and he just deducts points on the homework and tests for no reason. I have no idea what I'm going to get in the class because of how he grades/scales.

Only one class a week, get out early each class. Homework due every other week, offers extra help, grades on a scale of how the class did as a whole, no Final! Really easy class. Kinda boring, but hey, it's Science.

Caring teacher, wants you to learn all you can, and won't punish you for concepts you just cant grasp. YES you do have to do a tour of the nuke plant for credit, but its DURING class, so whoever was complaining about that is an idiot.
