O'brien is both my least favorite person as well as my least favorite professor I have ever had here at Bport. He's the smartest man you'll ever meet, just ask him, he'll tell you. I'm an English major and found his bookwork workload to be ridiculously difficult to keep up with. STAY AWAY

Professor O'Brien is definitely my favorite professor. He's the most legit professor I've had, and he's very approachable/helpful. I would definitely recommend that everyone take one of his classes. The work's hard, but definitely worth it.

This guy is amazing. He is the best teacher that I have had. He is a hard greader with a lot of reading and writing, but explains everything in detail while getting the whole class in the discussion. He sometimes bought pizza for the class.

LOVED this class... be prepared to know the books WELL..the books he chooses are sometimes horribly boring, but he will take the time to make sure it is understood and gives options in the papers..he is really understanding, and if you put in the hard work, you'll get a good grade

Ok.. yes, he is a very nice guy. No, hes not that great of a teacher. Hes very critical and can be intimidating. Pretty harsh grader, and you can expect A LOT of reading. We watched a lot of movies, which was fun- but sort of a waste of time. If you arent honors or a grad student- take somebody else!

This professor knows what he is saying possibly more than any other history teacher at Brockport. He has a good personality and I would recommend him. He does assign alot of work, but you will learn from his class and be able to use that knowledge later on in your major.

I have never actually taken a class with him, but he is an amazing guy with a great sense of humor. Everytime he sees me there is always a gentle smile and hello, and maybe a joke or two. All around, I wish I had the chance to get into just one of his classes, I bet they are awesome.
